Man they should remove the Fakours from the IR F-14 seeing 13.0+ BR every game and only having a handful of average missiles and your backup is a 9P! A rear aspect only missile at 13.0, what are they thinking!

its only at that br from fake stats they gave it some how magically pulls 20G while being same size and having the same fins as AIM-54A also in a BVR fight its like the fastest missile speed is real 20G isnt
gaijin in there infinite wisdom some how the iranians Strapped AIM-54 fins to a HAWK missile despite it being far larger than the AIM-54A and would not fit

Missile isn’t that good anymore though, it was when you faced F-4s and MiG-23s. But now you face Su-27s with R-27ERs or even R-77
Then you have the F/A-18s, F-2s and F-15s the jet is outclassed by everything and the missile options R-27 (not the ER thanks Gaijin)

just due to its speed it can reach a enemy far quicker than the R77 can and the R27ER is only faster if launched at same time which means you need to be within 6 miles for most russian radars
standard F14A facing this BS f14 is insane
They are very easy to notch though and not a threat to a player who is not AFK.
I’m fine with the BR at 13.0 but then it needs upgraded missiles to justify it.
9P is not ok
it forces them defensive makes a massive advantage for the F14 its the only good aim54 in game
plus for a size comparson the HAWK missile body is 3FT longer than the aim54 so if the fakour was made with a hawk missile body it was defiently not carrying 4 as they wouldnt fit in a space made for the aim 54

yeah FOX-3 combat isnt fun im more of a FOX-1/2 guy which is why i want F14D as
AIM-7P and AIM-9M with a new radar will be amazing in a F14D airframe

The missile is fine. Sure, some people have learned to defend it but not all. It’s still a ridiculously strong missile just from It’s speed alone. And even when you get uptiered, just fire at the space climbers. Most of them don’t get into the notch in time thanks to it’s ridiculous speed (also because the average war thunder player isn’t that smart to begin with.)

They are as I said great for AFK or new players for an experienced player or even a player in the constant 13.3 premium up tier they are crap.
Man we are facing 2015 jets with digital RWR, great Radars and actual ARHMs and massive amounts of CMs.
Su-30MKM is 13.3, F-16 with 120s is 13.3 you cannot beat or equal these aircraft and you just die.
F-14 IRAIF is a very much a meme and not competitive. It should not face the best of the Squadron and Premium jets.

Su-30MKK and Su-30MK2 are 13.3
The dumb premium one is 13.3 with R-77 against an F-14 with a memey Aim-54
