F-111C & F: When Pigs Fly!

ok cry about it i guess i will enjoy my Vark

just pretend it is a F-111K it is quite similar

Especially in Sim from the cockpit :D

Though with the Tornado buffs… Its gunna be hard to play this over the Gr1

I just don’t understand why India was added to Britain at all. They are no longer a British realm so no political ties and their soviet based equipment doesn’t fit the trees playstyle at all. Doesn’t fix anything or fill any gaps and additionally I’ve hardly seen anyone who really wants India tied to Britain.

Continuously baffles me India over Australa, NZ and Canadian content which tick all the boxes.

I’ll keep crying until the decision to turn India into a British subtree gets undone

Didn’t they used the Python 4 somewhere in between there tho

so forever then

no they only tested it on the F/A-18 and it lost to ASRAAM

Test between ASRAAM, AIM-9X and Python 4 on the hornets

That was a mistake.

I dont mind the export stuff, like the Jag or Sea Harrier. They are fine. But the Mig-21 BISON or T-90 really?

Even with the number of native stuff still missing let alone if you include South Africa as well and the CWs like Canada or Australia

Ahhh gotcha, my memory must have been messed up a bit. I seemed to have thought I remembered the python winning, don’t know how lol.

The ASRAAM actually won by a large margin but I think the US strong armed them into buying the AIM-9X instead

Here’s some of the Aussie graphs on it

when they got the Super hornet they were strong armed to using AIM-9X on it

Glad to see the F-111F will be much better defensively than the F-111A, maybe we can actually leave on the MAWS countermeasures deployment now without running out of countermeasures for one missile detection haha. Hopefully they’re all large caliber as well, since they’ll definitely be needed to protect those massive and hot engines.

They could have put India in the same spot as Canada and Australia or they could have turned India into a tree of its own.

There was no reason to tie them to Britain and both the Bhishma and Bison should have gone to the USSR tree. Their intention with the Bhishma was to give Britain some diversity at top tier, which could have been achieved with a Leopard or an Abrams, but apparently Australias and Canadas ties to Britain are too weak for that.

And even if a Leopard or Abrams never was on the table, they still obviously had to put work into making the Bhishma, so why didn’t they go for the Arjun instead?

I mean the US did test the asraam themselves so maybe we can see US jets with them?

Or get Australia hornet

Oh ok yeah makes sense

Altitude dependent. F-111 specialized in low altitude speed for the nuclear NOE dash to Moscow

Speaking of that, fb-111 would be soooooooo nice as a US nuke bomber at top tier

(FB-111 was the one they would put nukes on)
