Massive +1 for em.
Not for Australia though, we never used the L, only the M but doesn’t seem to matter.

Clip, Edit, and Share Your Game Clips & Gameplay - Medal energy retention seems to be not similar my friend. Both at similar speed, AB on, Wings started to sweep out and immediately started to turn.
I’m reiterating my previous comment.
In real matches, stuff like armaments, energy retention throughout the speed curve matters in addition to the turn rate. No one will think: hmm, there’s a enemy F-111, I’ll drop all my better missiles, I’ll take same fuel weight as him and drain all my speed to dogfight him to give him a fair chance.
F-111F is already going to be one of the best 11.7 fighters in the game, even better than Mig-23ML.
This certainly won’t be the case, after the update comes out, you take a random F-111F and a Mig-23ML against each other, the Mig-23ML would often win the engagement.
you can still test how they behave with the manual mode as that is what most players will use. the result will then represent a majority of players experiences with them.
how do you come to that conclusion?
I personally figure that if a vehicle historically used a munition and then don’t have access to it in game that would by logic make the loadout choices in game non-historical as the game then practically tells you “that vehicle can’t use that ammunition”.
and that would be exactly the case wouldn’t it? pylons on the F-111 would be missing weapons.
I would love to see the B-1A at some point, maybe as a premium or something lol
I give it a 4.7 out of 5 it’s pretty cool tho
Historical weapon means a weapon the vehicle used/can use.
And since this is a vehicle game, that is dictated by the manufacturer.
F-111F has AAMs, air to ground both dumb and guided… they’re filled unless there’s proof of its non-moving pylons being on F-111F and C.
So aim-9m on F-111 is historical. and removing it would be non-historical.
I don’t understand your argument for removing weapons a vehicle used IRL and it still being historically correct loadouts. It just wouldn’t be.
Can we maybe get this thing at 11.3 in ASB please?
Can we get outer pylon jettison finally for all the Varks, since it is historically accurate?
Also cool Daft Punk music in the video.
Hitting 1.10 with 3 bases of bombs is wild.
Fastest jet in the game until Mig-31 or YF-12, and fastest jet bomber in the game period.
@Necronomica
AIM-9M isn’t the only AAM F-111F used, thus not having it is not non-historical.
Having none of its AAMs would be non-historical.
Historically correct isn’t exclusive to adding ammunition it didn’t use, its also removing ammunition it did use. “Historically correct” is an absolute and changing anything makes it by definition inherently non-historical.
Also; the Australian version (the one coming to the game) only carried aim-9m if the information i’ve seen is correct, it might not be IDK (can’t seem to find it again), but still.
F-111C manual lists 9Ls as well.
Begging for 12.7+ F-111C/F is not something I nor others want.
Nor is begging for restricting the ability to select loadouts in-match [BRs based on selected loadout].
Shouldn’t fastest jet be f15?
F-15C was the fastest, and it’s going to 2nd fastest with this update.
F-15C also isn’t the fastest bomber on live as that goes to Mirage 2000DR1, 2nd fastest tho.
I googled and apparently f15 top speed is 1650 mph but f111f was 1452
again:
And being capable of carrying something doesn’t mean it ever did in service (like the JAS39 and R-darters discussion).
not part of the discussion, its an effect of it but not inherently a part of the discussion.
I asked if you didn’t want historical loadouts.
USAF museum states f15c top speed as 1875mph
Except we never used them. It’s not historical. Raaf went from aim9 B to the M and then the X, never used the L.
It’s basically the reverse of the F-4F & AIM-9J scenario.
