I’m calm and I think it would be fair to change it, even though the 150mm lens was a selling point.
I’ve already used it extensively, and anyway, it’s not as good as it used to be, even though it’s still very powerful.
In addition, I think the main advantage is the reload, which allows for big baits; the armor is optional.

We need to remember that there was a few different models of hulls/turret/guns on Somua, like hull like Tiger 2 (actually by design it was based of Tiger 2, that’s why there is 150mm) there was also hull of AMX-50, differect turrets like “normal” like Tiger 2’s TO100, TOA100, TOA120.
Gaijin likes to pick w/e they want of many diff variants of vehicles. there are dozen of examples like T-64BV, Leopard 2a4 with B hull/C turret etc. etc.
only SM with TO100 is known to have been built in one example, known so for now at least
Yea and that 75mm is legit according to pixel counting UFP is 0.75 of 100mm round so 75mm is legit. But after that huge nerf it should go down to 7.0 or 7.3 AT LEAST.

Well it’s widely known that These tanks are overtiered. Most overtiered is premium TO90/930 which is 8.0 with barely 207mm pen aphe, it has 137g tnt, but it’s useless when u non stop face 8.3/8.7/9.0 and can’t pen them.
f/e T-10M at 8.3 is absolutely inpenetrable frontally even at 0m distance, same story with T-55 / T-62 etc. (France face RUS in enemy team VERY often so that’s reason of examples, there are still many of vehicles which are very hard to penetrate, like M60’s, especially on distance.
All these AMX-50’s should be AT MOST 7.3 tbh.
120mm cannons are very powerful, but these tanks are huge and has very week armour so wouldn’t stand a chance vs most of vehicles at this BR, especially when many of them has stabilizer, But 7.7 make sense.
I agree. They should fight King Tigers at most - they’re paper and because they can shoot fast doesn’t mean they have to load the shot right after they and their enemy meet each other - both have guns loaded.
Armor is bad, their size is huge.
120mm versions have APBC which has casino randomness mechanic when it bounces even off Panther UFP. I believe it would also bounce from T-34 UFP lmao
Then the 930 version doesn’t have access to HEAT-FS munition, same as Bat.-Chat.25t
7.7 is absolutely fine though. The 90mm autoloaders are both overtiered but the 7.7 ones are perfectly fine. If the armour gets teduced it becomes way more similar to the amx-50 TOA100 and the loraaine 40t.
if only APCBC shells didn’t underperform and we could actually penetrate 55 degree 120 mm plates with APCBC, at 200-300 m, like documents say… but stupid Gaijin’ formulas work against it.
Would be nice if ricochet chances were removed, too. 120mm APBC bouncing off Panther and T-55 is an effen joke.
