why? 2a7v/+ armor is quite good irl, D-tech+addon should be around 900mm KEP (similar to turret protection)
the in game 2a7v have wrong hull armor value
highly doubt it, the hull arrangement its different including armor so its probably better than the base leopard 2A7V
Likely hull composite inserts arent D-tech btw. I’ve seen E-tech composites be used to describe the external composites, and like D-tech its possible this is actually subcategorized into stuff like E-1 and E-2 to describe internal vs external composites. Name aside though, most graphs show the 2A7V’s armor to be a direct improvement over tanks from the 90’s and 2000’s, so new inserts is nearly garanteed.
Gaijin has the 2A7V using weird terribad armor modifiers in-game making it worse than the vehicles tested in the 1990’s during the swedish trials and the Strv122’s, which is completely and patently insane, and likely issue of gaijins clear and massive bias against germany.

It’s too early to be at ease. In their minds, ‘Rheinmetall = Germany’. As with Challenger 3, since Rheinmetall is involved, they will start talking about how it should be added to the Germany tree. LoL

Yeah, deal with KNDS was not found, we either take the leo2a8 with no mods or kf51 and 41. Or whatever that thing is. or Embt. The MOD of italy has lots of money and its not used to it, i have the feeling we will see lots of hybrids

Nah it’s a leclerc Hull with a joint project Hull that’s not an issue, we just like to point out the hypocresy of SOME british mains claiming certain vehicles knowing the base of the vehicle it’s mostly German, but there are stuff that have rheinmetall brand on them that shouldn’t reallisticaly go to Germany and this applies to some stuff from other countries too like the CV90’s and BAE

The only joint project is embt. Leclerc Evolution should be just for France.
Likewise for Leopard 2 a-rc 3.0, this will only be available in Germany. This can never go to France.
