In the current meta, absolutely.
As I said the Typhoon is fast, thats really it’s strength.
But being fast isnt enough, Su-30 and Rafale are the meta.
Go and play some games of air RB and see what jets are at the top of leaderboards. Before Typhoon it was F-15E…Now the game play has shifted players dont fly as high making 120 shots far less effective.
Su-30 and Rafale have taken the spot from the F-15E.
Typhoon has remember 6 120s with a poor Radar.
Rafale is superior to Typhoon in every way. It’s as fast, has a far better Radar, superior turn rate and excellent missiles in both MICA and Magic 2.
Su-30 is slower than both but it makes up for it with a new longer range R-77-1 a fantastic Radar and 12 ARHM with 2 R-73s. It can turn surprisingly well and pull as much AOA as a Typhoon.
Typhoon in comparison carries 6 120s as it’s maximum payload.
Now if Typhoons Radar and FM were buffed to the correct levels then yes it would be once again up there.

Did you miss the 5 or so patches of pure nerfs to the Typhoon?

i better hope that a plane with TVC can pull more aoa than a plane without it
Considering TVC mpde isnt engaged all the time and the jet can still turn inside a Typhoon.

People keep using this as a data point and it just isnt the case in game.
For one your Typhoon wont pull more than 12G in instructor mode.
In the test flight the Su-33 pulls more than a Typhoon. I have both
Su-33 should not be pulling harder and having a higher ITR than Typhoon.
Typhoon is restricted in game.
And more importantly the Radar and avionics suite is what’s really hurting the Typhoon right now.
As you have both how are you finding the “blind” Typhoon vs the Su-30SM
i dont know under what magical conditions you achived that because iam not seeing that.
As it stands the Typhoon is the best Gunfighter in game
that was never my point, i was only talking about flight performance and not avionics

Rafale is the best gun fighter in the game (not that even matters)
In game the Rafale is the best jet in the game by a pretty big margin.
Just by flying the test flight the Su-33 seems to pull harder at mach 1.4ish
in what world are you reaching those speeds in a su-33 in a normal match
ontop of that the su-33 on min fuel without missiles also “only” pulled 12G
nope it is worse by a slight margin

This is how I can tell that you don’t have a clue what you are talking about, or that you are being incredibly disingenuous. It has a longer range when fired using the same conditions (in BVR this won’t happen, the Typhoon will always have the advantage), against a non manoeuvring target (which would be killed by literally everything at that point.
And that’s not bad at all.
The FM is already incredible, and every radar is trash because of gaijins recent updates.

Jokes aside statshark is not actually lying here. The only real misleading thing is the canberra is on 10% fuel but at that fuel load it actually rates better than the rafale.
