I doubt it, it’s not like all the f-16’s got shown back in the Apex Predators trailer. There’s no real reason not to put the Typhoon into all 3 tree’s. Even if just as a placeholder until a proper national variant is ready.

Noticed the trailer typhoon had Brimstones and JDAMS, Gaijin must be smushing together variants again

They probably showed the German one just because Germany players would be the most excited for it (due to lack of options for a long-long time). Don’t worry guys, I’m sure they’ll add it for 3 nations at least. We’ve seen it with Tornadoes if I remember correctly, they probably just needed some time to finish models for other nations. Keep in mind that this trailer haven’t been made today, but at least a couple of weeks ago.

I think we are on the same page then, thank you for the reply. My understanding of these things is not total - I am no expert. If my understanding on what permits engines to have efficient SFC in supercruise conditions was erroneous in any way I am welcome to people pointing out why.

The trailer showed some IFF symbology in the HMD for the Rafale, I’m assuming the EFT has something similar?
any possibility of these being used on the upcoming Typhoon then? Assuming it would also work for the weapons carrier that has brimstone mounted it would bring the AMRAAM total to 12 (+ 2 IR Missiles)

Should, but i doubt itll have it. French air is turbo handheld at top tier, even if they dont like to admit it.
The F-16C should also have HUD IFF and it was bug reported (the system in the F-16C and A-10C case is called SADL), but hasnt come yet. Originally I thought maybe it was cuz they didnt want any fighters to have that ability (A-10C and M2K5D RMV were the only ones to get it and both are strike aircrafts), but now I think they might genuinly think its a unique feature of the scorpion HMD, which the EFT and F-16C do not get.

I imagine its more to do with only having the German skin ready for the trailer over anythin else.

Anyone know if the EFT hud has the radar display in it like the russian jets or not? iirc it was modelled as such in one of the DCS mdos of it, but im not 100% sure.
