Stations 4 and 5 are fitted with AHDERUs(2000lbs class), stations 6 are fitted with ALDERUs(1000lbs class)
though this picture is a bit confusing because the GBU-24/50 is a 2000lbs class weapon lol

Keep in mind the values in the diagram I posted are in kg not lb.

Those are Paveway II (UK) bombs which are 1,000 lb class weapons, not GU-24s.
still though,
ALDERU is rated for 1000lbs class which goes to like 650kg
AHDERU is rated for 2000lbs class which goes to 1500kg
fuel tank pylons might carry more for obvious reasons
Is there an image somewhere showing the Eurofighter station numbering scheme?
i dont think so…
well there’s information in those documents iykwim
So basically your objection is that the inner wing pylons have AHDERU so should support 2,000 lb class weapons, like the mid wing pylons?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen heavy stores carried on those pylons, but I can see a couple of explanations:
That pylon can carry heavy stores, but at a lower g load than 5.5g
As I said, the diagram is from a report written during the development of EuroFighter. So the inner pylons may have been upgraded since then.
Is it a propaganda article, absolutely, skipping past the headline though there is other interesting information someone might find it interesting.
Seems to suggest the max number of Brimstone the Typhoon (as advertised to Turkey) can carry with 2 fuel tanks and a fill A2A loadout is 6, 3 on each triple pylon.
Doesn’t really tell anyone anything new though as we already were aware that Tiffy’s have 6 underwing pylons 2 for A2A, 2 are wet, so the only other 2 are for A2G.
The EF can carry everything on all 6 pylons exept maybe tanks though i think i have seen a pic of one having it on the middle pylon.
Interesting read.

Yes but I mean it can carry for certain 6 whilst compromising no standard A2A capability (so 4 BVRAAM and 2 SRAAM) and then 2 fuel tanks for loitering and then still have the ability to carry 6 Brimstone, that is a pretty damn fine loadout, alternatively you can take a central tank and lose the 2 wet for some more ordinance.
if we strictly adhere to what’s been spotted in the wild (as in on which pylons), you could carry:
2 SRAAM
4 BVRAAM
1 TPod
6 Brimstone
2 GBUs
Such damn awesome loadouts.
Not sure Gaijin will let us theoretically use nearly every weapon on the 4 underwing pylons but it would be even cooler if they did.
I was more referring to ditching the droptanks and taking 18 brims on the underwing pylons and 1 central tank.
But also I did not remember that they flew with that loadout.
That is pretty much the standard UK CAS loadout, lots of photos showing it. They sometimes through in a Litening pod for good measure:
its a shame that they haven’t integrated the litening on one of the MELs yet
I’m guessing these loadouts require buddy lasing as there’s no pod mounted? I’m assuming there’s no internal laser designator I don’t know about
Only the second image doesn’t have a targeting pod fitted on the centreline pylon. The bombs are Paveway IVs which can be both GPS and Laser guided. The missiles are Brimstones, which are radar guided.
Well, they can simply change the middle tank for a TPod
