Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

also interesting one “multijet”

Means twin engine, it picks up single engine aircraft as “Jet”

dosent work for stuff like F-15’s

Huh, thats odd. I’ll have to check the logic on it.

Did they nerf the fm? It doesnt pull that hard at high speed compared to previous FM

nerfed at high speeds buffed at lower speeds

Yeah just noticed that, turns like it has thrust vectoring at slow speed but for 16v16 matches i would prefer high speed turning capability

cant be that hard, right?

they forwarded my suggestion

ok so paveway IV and gbu-48 just do NOT work right now, like at all

On Dev?

yeah

its the GPS/INS part. if you make the seeker see the designation before launch its fine but even a level flight drop doesnt work

currently there is a bug with AoA button triggering Hover mode even if hover mode was unbinded, it seems to happen with the german EF2000 if someone has the british one it could be nice to bug report it too

It’s about time. Counterattacking on Typhoon is physically painful because the repeated attempt to detect the target takes an indecently long time. In attack systems, sensor fusion is definitely needed.
There is 2 options: IRST plus radar plus priority track, or RWR-slaving.

so the FM on the dev is also just a lot worse than on the live

Guess they are trying to bring it down to a more realistic level? Anyone have source if 12G is the actual limit it can pull?

EF feels VERY sluggish

Seems like a better gripen in turns from what ive seen. Guess maybe the rafale is next in terms of getting changes maybe?
