So Another thing have noticed.
The HMD does not allow the pilot to slave missiles or use the HMD into the cockpit area.
There are no such limits on the aircraft IRL.
The HMD is able to slave weapons, Radar, IRST and targeting pods to wherever the pilot can look, including through the cockpit area.
What the pilot cannot physically see, the radar, and IRST are able to detect and display as targets on the HMS.
