thing is itll only be more reasonable once the other CAS ordinance gets reeled in as you said. Brimstones are fun atleast and need you to play with more awareness than some other CAS planes at around the same BRs
The devs already answered this.
In the Typhoon it might be more viable, but in the Tornado Gr4 it was a real tragedy. You are simply to vulnerable and it took too long to swing round for another pass it make it worthwhile to do. 1 maybe 2 per pass just didnt seem worth it. Better to run PW4s and drop them on static targets or I’ve had pretty good success in taking out the carrier with the PW4s.
It literally can slave missiles
Im not fine with either. CAS is already too strong in GFRB, it doesnt need even more powercreep. The fact gaijin themselves literally stated CAS was much too strong now in-game and that it was a problem, and then announced the AASM’s less than a month later is utterly mind-boggling to me.
I dont see why anyone would think it would be fun to select 28 targets as fast as possible from anywhere on the map, RTB, then do it over again until the enemy team uninstalls the game, unless its to feed a sick god complex that some CAS players have.
If you wanna kill large numbers of ground targets that cant fight back in any way, just play air sim. You can do the exact same thing with the GBU-39’s with the added bonus of not making other players who are trying to have fun utterly miserable.
Yes Gunjob totally made it all up. the typhoon is unable to use all of its sensors in the way a sensor system would be used
Perhaps infrared ones, or active seekers for use in conditions where it goes active off the rail but I don’t see this providing datalink without the radar having a track.
dammit gunjob, all these years of using ChatGPT to make up fake sources for this bug reporting. Here’s where we find out the Tornado couldnt actually carry any bombs or the Harrier Gr7 didnt have BOL.

can we compromise with laser SDB (GBU-39)? GPS + Laser isnt that broken
well, you have to admit, it was move no one would have exspected
A: saying CAS is OP
B: buff CAS an month later even more
It hasnt got colour-in-yourself pictures he wont be able to understand it
Handy we have all these Devs working for defence contractors and they are not just military hardware nerds like normal forum posters…
I feel like you might be able to ripple fire and then guide them into sequential targets, but that would take effort, so I understand why it wouldnt be super popular. Its an idea ive been playing with just to switch things up.
its a you problem
Either you all start behaving properly or this won’t end well.

<3 love you Baozi
One of the major upgrades for the Eurofighter in the future was a proposed passive missile warning system.
Bazoi is just stitting here waiting for people to slip up now
Doesnt work, you are straight up much faster than the Brimstone. So even with a staggered release, they would impact nearly at the same time, maybe if you were ultra fast you could hit a second target, but generally it would be 1 target per pass.
But yeah, does add some new gameplay options at the very least, ive not tried it yet, but certainly in the Typhoon you can defend yourself if attacked and make repeated passes much faster and easier than the Tornado Gr4, so definetly makes them more viable to use
Issue with that is that a lot of planes dont have the ability to counter SPAAs like Pantsir outside of using standoff munitions.
Typhoon is able to do it due to its agility and speed, but trying to do so in ASSTA1 with only paveway 16s or 24, well theres no counterplay.
Without standoff munitions CAS at top tier is going to be limited to only extremely agile planes that are able to attack SPAAs like pantsir while every other plane (A10s, Tornados, Phantoms, etc.) are either going to have to get lucky or will just suffer.
More better SPAA options for other nations is a good step that i hope gaijin is going to do.
