Air Power Australia, the definitive “I spent 30s googling after someone called my bluff” source.

Okay, but what is this based on?

The Static Thrust of 90 KN
And Masses of:
11300kg - Zero Fuel Operational
17700kg - Max Fuel Operational + 10M

You’re not taking into account installed thrust change, and I am going to assume that the weights are just made up until I’m shown otherwise.

The weights are easily found from something I’m not going to put here… As for installed thrust, sure we aren’t going to get that, but are you comparing to installed thrust for the other jets?

U need the proof unfortunately

And nothing classified please

Had to stress that

Well most sources actually give a 0 fuel mass of 11,000kg which is lighter… why would I lie…

Not say you’re lying u just got back it up unless its classified

Will have to take my word for it I guess 🤷‍♂️

Gajin won’t

Which would only buff it further, I don’t mind…

You didn’t consider installed thrust losses. The Gaijin standard is 13% afaik which would bring the T/W down to 1.45 as I said. Next slide. (This is considering the 11,000kg weight and not the additional 300kg).

20,000 lbf- thrust class / 1.13 x 2 = 35,398 divided by 11,000kg (24,250 pounds) = 1.459 T/W

If you have better information on installed thrust, they’d go off that instead. Until then… the Gaijin standard it is.
