thing is SPEAR 3 has pretty much the same range of the KH-36 just way smaller (the weight of the missile at least on wikipedia is only 200lbs)

I would not say su27sm3 is too similar to the su35s in terms of missile payload….
Su27sm3 is around 2500 kg lighter than the su35s while having around 2k kgf less thrust. It also lacks the double r-77 mounts between the intakes, as IRL the extra r-77 racks that it got were on the wings. Su35s gets both the extra r-77 pylons on the wings whilst also getting the dual r-77 mounts between the engines. Su27sm3 also lacks r37m and various air to ground ordinance that the su35s gets.

Should be like double or more than Kh-38 range, it’s why I say it should come after better small guided bombs and full size cruise missiles since it’s better for GRB. Maybe at the same time as or update after SPICE 250 ER
I said KH-36 not 38 also it has a warhead of similar if not smaller size then an SDB-II so unlike with the GROM-1 this thing wont be sniping bases from its spawn in ARB either

MoD is useless at a lot of things, but they are good at making sure things are named correctly
there is a point where range doesn’t matter anymore in wt due to how the targeting pods work they could be added right now and would be a FnF option for the EFTs (idk if gaijin will give it to the german and itlain EFTs but considering the SA Grippen got a ton of options it never had irl then I would assume so)
hell even in the SAL mode they would at least be better then the current brimstones since they have GPS guidance and would just be a mix of brimstones and SDB

Spear-3s have been test fired which is the minimum requirement for the game and more than the KH-38MT.
Given the lack of MMW, a GBU-39 equivalent for the typhoon would be amazing and that’s the spear3
I’d take it with just GPS only if there is any balance issues

No, it’s jet powered, it’s a mini cruise missile not a glide bomb. SPICE 250 ER is closest thing to it, maybe GBU-53
In game though, a small, mass launch able, GPS guided weapon
tbh i much rather have the extra wing pylons but gaijin is just too lazy to make accurate flanker 3d modles

in warthunder the only place that will make any difference is snipping base AA in sim like if it was on the same level as the Grom 1 for mass I would agree but these things are pretty much just GBI-39s
