Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

So you are saying @Sean74218 might have found the holy grail of the EF thread?

Unless I used noise detection wrong, he did, although pretty sure a source can be given, as this can also be from a game or whatever

I just made a post relating to the EF as a work around to the Brimstone nerf any thoughts? Litening III Targeting Pod Capabilities

I thought gaijin didn’t use pictures as sources

hey surbaisse how do we measure speed ingame
i am making a suggestion and i dont really know what is the fitted top speed because alot of sources stated differently
like some stated mach 2.0 is ~2200km/h and some stated ~2500km/h and some stated ~1300km/h

Combined with the secondary sources confirming that AMRAAM on inner pylons is possible. It might be enough.

But they dont inherrently trust them outright because of how easy it is to photoshop them.

So they could turn around and give a million reasons as to reject this image and more than a few would be fair (like the quality being too low to confirm what is on the pylon). There is every chance they will reject any image, even ones that are vertifiable as an excuse to avoid buffing the Typhoon.

What is probably need is video footage of a Typhoon with AMRAAM/METEOR on those pylons or photos from a million angles from an event like an airshow and or a primary source.

they do in case of carried weapons.

so if you have a picture of a Eurofighter carrying 10 Amraams it can be used to bug report the loadout

Can’t help with that, I’m terrible at math

Is this used to spot photoshopping?

yes to a certain extend

Never thought to use noise as a way to check the validity of an image, that is clever

So that’s effectively proof of amraam’s being mounted there? -_-

aww

Yes. However it cannot detect if its from some very advanced imaginary AI, a game or an actual irl image

something like this ?

well it could be from a game, you cant really tell because of the low image quality

Hmm I see, still a pretty cool tool tho, first time seeing it :)

It’s all about altitude & conditions with actual speed vs mach number
