As I have said before it’s no more buggy than any other mechanical scan radar. Also calling it the worse radar at top tier is the number one sign of someone who has never touched an su27 before
Other radars have been plagued with bugs since TWS+ was added. The Typhoon has been plagued with bugs since it first appeared on the dev server. So we have even more bugs now than we did before. Considering that it’s bare minimum performance should be equal to the Blue Vixen…the fact it’s by far the weakest radar at the bare minimum in the British TT (seriously, I’d rather have the Javelins radar at the moment) is a major issue.
Su-27 does have a weak radar, but it was a historically bad radar that is near it’s irl performance. CAPTOR-M is barely better yet outperformed many early pesa radars including the pesa radar on the Rafale. The fact it can barely compete with Su-27 is just a joke
@MythicPi who has used both will attest to their relative performance and it’s his opinion I’m trusting for this.

I suspect they are keeping the plane artifically nerfed cuz they realized they made a mistake by adding both eft and rafale, they should’ve waited a bit more.
Ofc I’m against these artificial nerfs but i don’t think things will change soon, unfortunately eft will stay crippled for a while…
Try comparing the su30 to the eurofighter next time

The Typhoons TWS spends more time not tracking the target than tracking it. If I even bothered playing that flying piece of garbage in WT atm, I would hardlock all my shots. The TWS mode is a literal liability.

I would say it is rather more interesting with which pixel aircraft I “blow up” other pixel aircraft.
With Rafale and SU-30 especially I’m blowing up many more pixel aircraft than I do in Eurofighter both in relation to the respective pixel aircraft I’m playing with being blown up…
Probably. With just how artificially nerfed everything else is on the British TT, would have been nice for our end of tree aircraft to have some semblence of its IRL performance. Given the AESA radars we have now. The fact they feel they need to artificially nerf the CAPTOR-M is hilarious

The current Eurofighter radar certainly comes very close if it doesn’t hit the mark.
The one from last patch certainly was worse.
Would be a great theory if gaijin wasnt buffing the Rafale practically every chance they get despite it already being the best jet in-game before the latest major update where it received a ton of major buffs.
But isn’t the Rafale also underperforming, specially regarding the mica? Afaik the EFT just got hit a bit harder unfortunately
To be fair MICA already is the most dangerous missile in game.

Yes, but my point still stands. If they were keeping them nerfed for balance reasons, the Rafale would be the literal last jet in-game you’d expect to see get buffs, and it got more buffs than anything in-game this last major update.
The MICA’s also got a massive buff during the last major update btw, still dont have the range they should have (thank god) but now they have by FAR the best radar seeker of all the ARH’s.

It’s not a secret at this point tbh it’s probably one of the worst radars in top tier considering it should be competitive with, for example, Rafale, SU-30 etc
Well that sucks, I feel for you eurobros but unfortunately that’s how this company works, It took them 1 and half a year to improve the flanker fm which was based on t-10 documents even though ppl were massively reporting the issue back then…
every other mech scan in the game does the same (or worse), its not a EF specific issue and for what its worth the EF’s radar is not even particularly bad, its just poor radar modelling in general
