Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

I won’t go on it for a long time since it’s not about the EFT, but the F3R could also have tested the OSF-IRST now equipping rafales. The system has been sold as soon as in 2019, when no actual Rafale F4 were in service, so later F3R might have had it equipped (and became F4). But to be faire the difference between F3R and F4.1 are so minimal (with AESA and 8 missile pylons) that they could be considered the same in game.
My guess is that the devs kept a future F4 variant to be researched for new weaponry (Meteor, MICA NH, AASM 100kg)

Basically, there is no problem.

okay now radar are fcked up

happen to EFT and Gripen so far as i know

Qatari/Kuwaiti or Saudi source?

idk, im not touching that

That’s because they are already not quite capable of preventing deep stall due to the high negative static margin. With AMK it is worse as the negative static margin is even higher, but a higher peak or sustained AoA is possible due to better sideslip control.

Right, video for you guys

Because it was humorous? Perhaps you could learn something there :P

Cool video, absolutely crapped it when that SA-6 alarm went off I thought the video had no sound!

Good to see hud mounted threats and ground threats mapped using the HMD…We can only dream of that capability in game.

I actually wonder if Typhoons can employ some kind of automatic ground mapping…
Like a radar unit lighting you up can be seen via HMD. It’s position being calculated according to feedback from DASS + GMTI + automated TGP slaving of some sort.
This is theoretically posible due to sensor fusion and on board computer.

some radar bs again, literally scans below the aircraft entire time
