Dont really see anyone in the Rafale thread trying to target the Rafale with nerfs using misconstrued sources.
The Rafale thread seems to mistake reasonable balance consideration, concerns regarding realism, and discussions regarding the actual capabilities described in sources as an “attack” on the aircraft itself, which is just downright bizarre.
I don’t really care who started and who didn’t, I just want the parties guilty of screwing things/about to screw things to sit down and quit their sabotage. If you feel called out because my post was a quote of yours, that was not my intent and I apologize for the miscommunication.
Technically speaking, the current Rafale ingame is the indian Rafale according to the guy who made the Rafale thread, so the brits cant gst the indian Rafale, cuz thats what the french got cuz they didnt think the french one was good enough for them, so ahah! Checkmate teaboo /s
I tried my best to prevent things like the 8x MICA, but misinterpretation and distortion of reality is a given (this is smth that affects all groups) - I also agree that a F.3.3 with PESA would’ve been a much better fit, however some of what is being spread here and there is ridiculous.
Also, before someone claims I’m “Rafale biased”, yeah maybe a bit, but I also tried to get the TMC (MFRL) reported with AMRAAM for EFT.
Default texture names for the “from: t=” fields are are uk_brimstone_dual_c/uk_brimstone_dual_n
The name uk_brimstone_dm should only be in your “to: t=” fields.
I think the TMC was always going to be a long shot, but the inner pylon AMRAAM I think is very much on the fence and has been denied so far purely as a balancing thing, with the excuse of “lack of sources” rather than a hard denial. I’ve seen WAAAAY sketchier additions go through before.
In this case I wasn’t talking about the maximum AoA but about how fast the AoA can be changed (and maximum AoA can be reached) by actions of the pilot/canards, translating into responsiveness to the pilot inputs.
That there will be limitations by the FCS (flight control system) should be obvious, otherwise one stick command could let any modern plane disintegrate in seconds :D
I domt think anyone here would say you’re biased to the Rafale, I dont think ive ever seen you say anything that was unreasonable, and from perspnal experience, I dont think the majority of the EFT fans seem to be particularly unreasonable on their end either.
This is just my perspnal opinion, but I dont think theres any real bad blood between normal EFT fans and normal Rafale fans, theres bad blood between everyone and unreasonable Rafale fans.
Oh wow, thats hilarious. My post about gaijins flagrant use of marketing lies was hidden. Well, good luck to you all as i assume ill be given another ban. Be sure to listen to big brother.
Should probably have clarified, specifically earlier paveways + other general use cases (like SEAD and other bomb tossing against light or small targets) not paveways in general. Generally the UK’s munitions replacement comes under SPEAR (Selective Precision Effects At Range), which is broken into 5 requirements with general ranges and roles:
Paveway IV and LEPs of Paveway IV, short and medium range general and heavy targets.
Brimstone and LEPs of Brimstone, short range armoured and light targets.
Spear 3, medium and long range light, general, & armoured targets.
Stormshadow and LEPs, long range HV and heavy targets.
Stormshadow replacement, extra long range general, HV, and heavy targets.
Currently Paveways are used to fulfil the 3rd requirement as Brimstone doesn’t have the impact against general targets like lightly armed emplacements, SPEAR 3 gets a HEAT-FRAG warhead and GPS targeting.
