Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion

That’s the instructor trying to prevent a wing stall. Expected. The AOA button should be viewed as relaxed limits but not no limits. The Instructor is still translating your inputs into controls.

Should also contain Torpex instead of RDX. Either that or rename it to Mk.13

Interesting. It did seem the INS was pretty useless before. So we’ll see if its any better. Though of course the ultimate solutioin of Priority track still remains

so i think gaijin just seems to disregard min fuel performance…

IRST/Radar fusion should fix issues where the bearing is drifting from actual target position. But we don’t have that presently. PT will improve update times but you’d still need the IRST for quick bearing corrections.

I’ve suggested both of these to the developers, just waiting to see what happens in the future now. :)

Yep, changing the subject slightly. have you heard any news for the missile lead indicator thingy, being added to cockpit symbology?

No updates to share on that front, since we just got it in 3rd person I’d imagine they’re going to slowly bring in the HUD symbology for it, but I don’t have anything solid to share on that front. Just my own expectations.

never seen this before, what part of the aircraft look like this?

Seems to me that Gaijin can’t decide on the scanning pattern of the PIRATE. It’s been changed yet again lmao

things on the side are canards, so you see some legs of your pilot

Has nothing to do with the MFD camera display

MFD camera position is too high. Compared to the dedicated view and sensor position.

Appears to be on the SU-30 HUD.

Of course it is

But as you can see from these images the radar has never been so bad before. this update made it even worse

This update is a bit of a lemon for me, not many improvements for the radar or armament and I’m not going to stick around to get pounded into oblivion by 2 Kh carriers in GRB, maybe when we finally get some FnF and Priority Track it will be better.

I can’t wait for when Gaijin reaches the limits of adding new stuff and focuses on refining systems and gameplay.

Until today with sidewinders it only worked as long as the target had an engine running. Since today the range has increased, but I don’t know by how much yet

The actual idea of interception (at least in the game) is not to hit the missile, but to fly close enough for its detonator to detonate itself.

What I’m curious about is this. The Rafale was tracking the target in the upper hemisphere. Where is the IRST, which is logical. If the aircraft is equipped with a TGP, then tracking continued in the lower hemisphere?

Dopuble pylon on su-30sm is not real

You can see a prototypical version in the following video of the LANTIRN navigation pod, where it slews Left & Right, yes it might be displayed on the HUD not a HMD but it’s not much further to having it cue to a HMD LoS like the PNVS does for the AH-64.

We even know that the Basic F-16s for example could have been wired (As per MIL-STD-1553)for it, had it received a HMD.
