Besides joke can we appreciate both platform? Cause both Rafale and EFT are amazing machines and we dont need for another heated conversation about “muh this is better”.
Who do you think you are talking like that? Some kind of CAESAR?
The information that is publicly available on the CAESAR programme seems to imply that it worked well. So I personally consider that option to be unlikely.
I can’t be beaten by some PIRATE! That’s not possible
I think it may be time to stop. Else the mods will go out and CAPTOR us for our bad behaviour :(
Yeah theyre fighting about damn planes as if theyre shareholder or smth… Like who gives a fuck just enjoy them

Anyone have info on this? For whatever reason I doubt low power AESAs in Ka band are particularly detectable.
You got a source the EF MAWS is an AESA that is in Ka band with LPI, post it.
Even if this does get modeled it wouldn’t be the end of the world, and they’d probably add the ability to turn it off.
Well that’s the problem. I can say with some level of certainty through reasoning it’s an AESA in Ka band, and it would likely retain the LPI from previous radar MAW, but I can’t prove it. That’s what i’m asking about.
Number of tracked targets on uk_captor_m_pirate found on the ef_2000_fgr4 and ef_2000a will be corrected back to 20.
Any chance you could cation the F-14B report please, it’s been 9 days.
[DEV]The F-14B should be impacted by this change to IRST/EOTS
Just looking at the 2.44.0.44 datamine… What’s up with this? Other IRSTs don’t appear to have a band 0 or 7
Is the EO on F-14B part of its tracking automation? So in STT does it currently fall back to EO tracking?
No.
In game, it does effectively nothing of any great use, other than align the TCS’s Line of sight with the tracked radar contact, the same as the TISEO (present on the Kurnass 2000), it also has a manual point / area tracking capability as with all other Targeting pods (even if they aren’t actually targeting pods), but that doesn’t cue the radar (or missile seekers).
The IRL modes of operation are detailed in the various excerpts attached to the report.
It’s not applicable to this change then, this isn’t to grant IRST/EO aircraft the ability to launch in IR/EO tracking modes, its only to fix when the fallback to IR/EO is flicking between Radar and IR/EO. If its not part of the F-14B’s automation then there is no fix to apply here. Sorry mate.
Does a current report for the F-14(B) to receive IRST / EOTS mechanization exist in the internal system at this point?
I know one was passed on the old forums by MythicPi but nothing seems to have come of it.
