Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 3)

Yeah its bugged when your radar and pirate is on

Also, the damn thing most likely has 0^% kill chance if not top down on the MBT → top down in top tier 13.0 in your wildest dream.

PW4 used for spamming GNSS to me is an insult to Typhoon’s CAS capability while its is already insulted.

Imagine the elephant having it easy while you have to duck left and right just to drop bomb in GNSS which is 95% not gonna kill anything.

But I guess the elephant who can’t barely understand to use radar modes in a RU plane on live stream would have difficulties to use its conventional CAS weapon so they have to add a brochure A2G to compensate the shaking fingers :D

Please don’t blame me for this negative energy. The game is not balance while the dev team totally have the ability to do it (they get paid to do it but they don’t).

Isn’t the “training round” just a regular ball round without explosives or specialized armor piercing projectile?

Isn’t it needed to clean the gun barrel/mechanism or maintain temp limit or something?

no and no.
Lemme ask you, if its necesary, why is sweden not using it on the same gun?
And why does the stealth belt not use it?

not to mention that germany is missing its main anti air ammunition FAP in the first place

Ayo this is offtopic but someone can help me? How to get rid of this bomb release permition? Rn i need to turn off the radar and disable sight stabilization to drop the bombs, the stock grind is already misarable, and now i dont have premium acc and cant really drop my bombs easily
*activation of automatic bomb release in CCRP setting is on

thats why

OFF means you can drop normally

It needs to be bug reported. I need to sit down and write it at some point. Manually setting a CCRP point should override the radar, but it doesnt.

Then maybe a suggestion is needed for a toggle for the target point cueing to radar as well.

I think I wrote it before but on the EFs with PIRATE the whole interplay between radar, IRST, TGP and CCRP is completely bugged. It is impossible to TWS track targets and use the TGP/PIRATE at the same time for A2G as TWS always slaves the targeting point and aligns the view of the TGP/PIRATE to the TWS target. In that phase CCRP gets activated automagically too and you’re unable to deactivate it except you deactivate your radar and switch the weapon selection from A2G to A2A. It’s a giant mess.

I have a bug report open regarding broken third-person-view lock for SPICE-250/GBU-53 on ally planes, but no movement on that side. A report regarding this whole mess a described above still has to be made.

that is not true, you can do A2G while using the radar

Your video only shows half. You have a TWS target track, but now switch to A2G munitions and you will see the target point tracks the TWS target and is not deactivateable. As long as you choose A2G munitions in the weapon selector the target point is slaved to the TWS track and CCRP is not deactivateable, making it impossible to drop bombs.

Is there an option I’m missing? Currently the target point gets slaved to the TWS target for me if not TGP is installed (could be a PIRATE thing) and is not deactivateable.

Sorry for the view cut-off. I’m trying to disable CCRP in this video via keybind which doesn’t work and in PIRATE view I can’t move the view at all.

you just have to set the target point
that way it dosent slave to TWS anymore

you can also use this keybind to set the target point somewhere else in 3rd person

and with it you can also cycle through the tpg/ pirate lock on an aircraft and unlock it

I guess there’s now way to just deactivate the targeting point and CCRP completely (so they won’t get activated automatically without pressing their exclusive keybind), is there? Glide bombs don’t really need the CCRP (for me at least) on these map sizes.
