I mentioned Kh-38 would have access to mmW then Kobra and airshow pish was brought up.

That was genuinely one of the funniest moments on the forum when he claimed that
Literally one of the reasons why I just couldnt play the EFT in ASB, every time I noticed and every time it annoys me. (that and the terrible state of ASB at the moment)
It might sound like a small thing, but this issue was honestly one of the main reasons I stopped flying the Eurofighter.
Every time I wanted to play ASB with it, I would see this and it just killed my motivation to keep playing, I’d end up leaving SB and sometimes just closing the game, because it just looks awful, what makes it even more annoying is knowing that it used to look perfectly fine before.
I still feel the same about it now and it still annoys me a lot. The Eurofighter looked so good when it first came out, and now this makes it look awful and completely ruins the experience for me
Yeah. I really really want to play ASB, and even more in SNE, if it ever gets added, since the HMD got updated with the DL, ive not done a single match since it was added, and that is such a shame.
Throw in the lack of UV filter, the nonsense with the backlights (though being on PC I can fix that) and other just little issues like this yeah. Its just a let down
Its not the only one that I stopped playing because of cockpit problems, the SHar is another.
A total overhaul of the EFTs cockpit would be one of the best things they can do to the aircraft and it has 0 balance impact

Continuing the discussion from Eurofighter Typhoon FGR.4 (AESA) - the UK's most advanced Typhoon:
Can’t tell what exactly (/s), but I’m pretty sure my AESA Eurofighter is missing some stuff here. Fairs on the lack of Spear 3, Storm Shadow, Meteor and ASRAAM for obvious reasons, but it would’ve been nice to have 2x ALARM. I even stumbled on Flame2512’s bug report about the lack of it
Also still missing a working air-to-air gunsight too. And a HUD tint visible from the cockpit view.

And yes, Gaijin really doesn’t want to add ARM to British aircraft
I hope they’re gonna wait until 5th gen to release the full Typhoon with everything fixed, so it can actually compete better

Whatever they give the EF, the elephant always get the better stuff.
Btw, do we have pictures of the ALARM on the 6 (3 if you consider symmetrical loadout) pylons ? I don’t think i’ve seen it on more than 1 or 2 wind pylons, even if it’s just peacetime loadouts.
I think the only place I remember seeing 6 is on the Eurofighter website and maybe in some brochures:

Would be awesome if they let us have 6 ALARM’s, hell just having that many big missiles on an EFT looks awesome.
Still I swear vehemently that retiring ALARM and Sea Eagle so early was one of our biggest mistakes. (even if both needed upgrades).
Im just imagining what ALARM Mk2 could have been.
MMW seeker and Ramjet are 2 upgrades that come to mind
Im hoping the develop an Anti-Radiation seeker for the Spear-3 at some point though, that would be good
