Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 2)

I believe it’s also because MMW guidance would require ground radar signature implementation for all vehicles or something along those lines.

Gaijin are so scared of Mmw radar on brimstone. It can’t really teamkill as from what I recall brimstone has target recognition of some sort so it can identify its target. So you’d have to write some code to where it can only target enemy tanks. The whole excuse about it ignoring smoke is the funniest one though. It’s not like a IR missile fired from 20km away give the players on a ground a warning 😂 1 Players on the ground don’t see it. 2 they are IR so don’t give off a laser warning 3 KH38 with the IR seeker there is no evidence of it actually existing/produced outside of a single mock up so the talk about fabrication is funny

Ohh I am entirely sure that the current version of the game has technical limitations that prohibit “Real” brimstone capabilities.

Let me be clear. I am also NOT saying that every eurofighter in the game SHOULD have 18 full capability Brimstone 2’s because that would break GRB. But 6 should be fine I think.

There’s only 2 nations ingame that use brimstones irl, italy isnt one 😂

Yeah but it seems Gaijin has chosen to combine all eurofighters into one, weaponry and equipment wise. It wouldnt surprise me that Italy would also get Brimstone 2 since it technically COULD carry them because, well, the other two EF’s can and do carry them

Technically only 1.

Germany hasnt gotten them yet. Wont for another 2-3 years

Under a technicality yes, however they do have the order in, compared to italy with non

much like the KH38MT…

i know the report is about SPICE 250, but also official Renders with the fully loaded Meteor setup. Will the also be checked again?

Watch them do so to calm the playerbase, but put them on the outermost pylon so they conflict with the double AIM-120/AIM-9 rack.

I submitted a report because the AMRAAM is not functioning. I realize it may be inappropriate to post the URL here, but I apologize as even a small bit of information is needed for the same issue.

Eyyyyyyy, more future weapons for the Eurofighter.

Interesting, initially it was reported that they were buying the UK national weapons fit, so ASRAAM/Meteor, guessing that was just to get them started while they integrate the new Turkish options.

Excited to see what they come up with.

As you said they’re getting the British weapons before moving over to Turkish weaponry, and given how similar the systems of the KAAN are to that of Eurofighter it’s probably easier for them to learn now on a finished airframe

BAE Systems has been pretty involved in Turkish Def’ Sector for awhile now.

So I don’t know if any of you have played ground sim much recently.

It’s ironic that the devs think brimstone would be OP as it would allow a single vehicle to wipe out the whole team

Considering that’s exactly what’s been happening since KA50 was added

It was already bad enough. Now we have Mi28s that can take off with a full load at the start of the game; fire all is LMURs, take out the entire team, AA and aircraft, land and do it all over again

But no brimstone on a typhoon that has to get past SPAA first would be far too OP right

What a joke.

Ngl seeing Jas39E pilots absolutely wipe out nearly an entire team in one pass with the 16 Spice-250s made me think that Brimstones mmw honestly wouldn’t be too bad now lmao.

GRB is an absolute mess…

What domestic missiles does turkey use?

They’re probably talking about these 2
Bozdoğan (air-to-air missile) - Wikipedia
Gökdoğan (air-to-air missile) - Wikipedia

The ARH isn’t anything to write home about i’d think, but the IR missile is interesting, it has TVC reminiscent of IRIS-T and if the weight (140kg) is to be believed it could be quite a long range missile.
The IR missile has been tested from ground launch and is stated to have 15km range, same as ground launch ASRAAM, so their range could be comparable.

Bozdoğan short-range and Gökdoğan medium-range. 25km+ range for the IR short-range missile and 65km+ for the ARH medium-range missile.

Yeah, the missiles that WereCat888 are mentioning.
