Oooooh… Finally.
Is it me, or does the Typhoon have 2x GMTI modes?
Edit: 1 seems to detect ground vehicles and coastal boats. the other only detects ships (Coastal and bluewater)
I have to press the cycle button twice for it to move out of TWS GMTI
Also, the targeting pod doesnt automatically cue to the GMTI lock
Its also a shame it cant track stationary targets like it can IRL. Though that may require SARs to be modeled
Accurate tracking of both stationary and moving objects on the ground is enabled by the Ground Moving Target Indication/Track function - Source
Now you would just need a radar guided A2G weapon…
Just checked the FA2, same on that.
So could do with the first mode being left has TWS GMTI and the other being renamed to something like TWS SEA
Does the PIRATE sysyem or TPOD slew to what the Radar is tracking on the ground?
No
:( it should be able to do that though
Yeah it should and with SAL Brismtones, it would be the most valuable thing
It’s also missing its A2G search feature. I’m sure it’s one of several things that will come eventually
Current list with the Ingame radar modes for the Captor
My question is… how?
Is that a tint?? Really hard to tell
Air search is trying to track in GMTI???
This appears to have broken 120s too as i can’t launch them.
Well looks like they’re gonna axe GMTI again before live.
Its cool but for Typhoon and in ground battles its going to be a mess of flickering contacts that we cant realiably track or engage with.
Already fired off a report, when you say preventing 120 launches I assume you mean in STT?
Rejects it in TWS too. I can’t get the 120 launch UI to come up. 9Ms can track and fire but I can’t even get the 120s to track. Even switching off the radar and getting a HMD lock (which comes up as PD TRK) it refuses to work.
Rebooted game, mysteriously started working. weird.
@Dontkev-psn Can you test the block 10 please, saves me having to click a thousand times to unlock it.
