Isnt there already a report for that somewhere?

Might wanna check with Gunjob, might already be an internal report before submitting one. I just swear ive seen it discussed before

idk

but its a nice piece of hud footage i wanted to share

also i used that to try to get the HUD unstreatched maybe now it will get fixed (it probably wont)

i think they should “draw” a better radar for all EFT’s.
as they already did with western Taiwan.

Yeah, no idea why they wont fix the HUD, surely it cant be that hard to do

Took them long enough.

It has much more additional data displayed than what we have in game

the stuff on the left is mostly naviagtional stuff regarding the autopliot and waypoints, thats not really relevant for WT

we are missing the energy cue symbology tho (the thing thats partly blurred)

I’d imagine METEOR has an LPI seeker, as I’m pretty sure it’s a electronically scanned array

mechanically or a electronically?

Apologies, forgot that part. It uses tech taken from the ASTER and MICA missiles, then improved and combined so I’d imagine AESA

Fairly certain METEOR just has a tweaked MICA seeker at the moment. There was a planned upgrade for the Meteor that would swap it for AESA or something that was in partnership with Japan, but I think that project is dead, or has radically changed.

There is also the Meteor-ER but not a lot is known about that I think

Yeah not sure, I know the seeker uses bits from ASTER too, and MBDA describe that seeker as an ‘active electromagnetic seeker’

So that’s up to interpretation really

Either way it’s definitely going to be ESA, so i find it hard to believe the best and brightest at MBDA didn’t think to entertain som method of LPI, in whatever form

It’s interesting to me that you see more complications with Typhoons design than the absolute monumental corruption associated with any Russian military procurement.

As for capabilities well Su-30/35 are good enough on paper but Typhoon has been operating with IIR missile a protection suite/maws and Meteor. For decades now.

Russia is just comissioning R-77M to front line VKS units.

No, I just wasn’t sure I should be mentioning the, lets say, “allocation of military budget for non essential spending” of certain nations. I’'m not entirely clear on the rules regarding that, you see.
