Don’t know if you’re currently on the dev server but how many brimstones can be carried alongside the Spice bombs?
I dont have the AESA one grinded, but I assume it doesnt conflict with the other pylons. So I guess 12.
and gunjobs image shows brimstones on the pylons right next to it
Yeah I thought so, though was wondering if Gaijin might’ve placed a stupid limitation between the weapons, though considering they’re not in each other’s way, they SHOULD be completely fine to use together. Still though, quite a potent loadout for CAS
Yeah, should be quite good. My only reservation is the mach 1 max speed limit and getting the Typhoon slow enough, unlike PW4s and Brimstones, they are gunna be fiddly to use I think
In the future:

i have tried to line it up but i dont think there is any angle where that spice rack and the one in game will ever lineup
Did we get any FM changes on dev? The jet really wants to nose up bad when slow. I have to fight to keep the nose down on landing.
Pilot has his very own 5$ chinese laser pointer
Yep sorry but no way Russia who are at least a generation behind the West could produce a Radar that is superior to the latest Radar Western nations can produce
It’s because it’s fake, as usual, lol.
Btw, do we have any sources on SPICE 250’s having a release limit of MACH 1?
The Irbis-E has 350~400km range… in a 10x10 degree scan sector. It’s worse than CAPTOR-E when operating under normal scans. Gaijin just blanket set the range to the maximum value they could find.
…
it’s not like the radar in game is capable of locking any target past roughly 120km in game anyways.
And anyways the radar is underperforming in scan limit
It is. Gaijin (the geniuses they are) copied UI values from the base Su30 like they did with ECRS from CAPTOR-M (which is what caused the centre to be green but not the outsides)

the hard limits sit at 300km for tws and 400km for tws hdn
for detection. which doesnt matter as you can’t lock onto the targets past 120ish km

Tracks have the same values.
I’ve never seen a radar that’s able to lock targets in the black portion of the radar. have you actually tested this or just using datamine values
CAPTOR-E could do this for a while (the UI was copypasted from CAPTOR-M, so it was green for ±70 on a ±100 UI)
I suspect it’s the same thing here. 120km is the max range of N011M which it’s probably c&p’ed off of.
How on earth would i test a lock beyond 120km on a 100x100km map?
diagonal of squares are longer than the sides of squares. also aren’t the biggest maps 128x128?
I’m not entirely certain any radar works beyond about 105 working off of CAPTOR experience tbh. Could give it a try and see what happens.
