They didnt even bother doing that, whoever handled the bug report slapped it with “not enough info” (I provide 2 primary sources, 1 for ECRS Mk0 compatibility and 1 for ECRS Mk2 compatibility) and then locked the entire report so that even I, the person who made the report, could not comment or edit it to ask what they meant or to even attempt to provide more info (not sure how 2 primary sources isnt enough though).
They’ll then wait a bit and then slap “not a bug” on it because I “didn’t provide any new info when prompted”, and then will close all future bug reports attempting to report it by linking my bug report in the comments.
AMK is part of the upcoming P4E upgrade. Britain has funded the P4E upgrade for its Eurofighters, presumably Italy has too.
It’s a good job the old German typhoon doesn’t have access to any technology it never used then huh
Just means we can all have IRIS-T as a backup for when Gaijin make ASRAAM total crap
New scan patterns are up for ECRS MK1/2
Narrow 30x15 6 bars 0.7 sec

Medium 60x30 12 bars 2.9 sec

Wide 90x30 12 bars 4.4 sec

Full 200x15 6 bars 4.9 sec

Full 180x15 6 bars 4.4 (Mk1)

We’ve gotta grt past the MICAs first
Isn’t brimstone also, actually, mounted on the german 'phoons?
We should probably just have the jetd be identical across the three nations now to keep things simpler imo
Is 560°/s functioning?
They decided on around 250°/s which is a happy medium between the E-Scan speed and Mech speed.
Thought I’d let you spot them ;)
So if they used the 590° figure it could do a full scan in about 2 seconds?
Shouldn’t that only be applied to the zones larger than the E-Scan area? Or is that already the case
Yeah which would be nonsense haha :).
My best top tier jet is the Typhoon and I say we typhoon apes together strong vs the big bad Rafale.
God I hate the Rafale…
In that case I’d rather they remove the mechnscan area entirely and just go 560. Its an AESA radar for crying out loud
