To be more specific, the TMC while theoretically able to mount AMRAAMs (via MFRL) may not be able to handle the additional weight. The typhoon can mount paveways on that pylon so I doubt the wing is the concern.
I thought the reason was that there was no evidence the EFT’s stores management system could handle more than 6x BVRAAM’s and 10x AAM’s total atm?
Idk weight was the reason I was given. I suspect that’s also a reason as there is no evidence the stores management system can handle more than its current stores.
