Yeah, the moment he claimed the EFT was OP because it could fire an Aim-120C5 at a target that was 100° off boresight and somehow hit it, just proves he was just making stuff up
I could not think of any other advanced American jet. F-22 is still being modernized and F-35 might be more advanced then F-15EX, so i went with F-35
Considering how large map was in nuclear thunder, I think they would be adding large maps with 5th gen (or maybe with new aerial warfare gamemode they were talking about) for air rb/sim
The question is how stealth will be modeled. If it does basically nothing then the EFT is already a lot stronger than the F35.
F35 is basically dependent on stealth to do anything well, so it’s only actually good in things like SEAD. Everything else its just average

Also ECM and EW. We’ve got 50+ years worth of missile systems in the game without the EW/ECM that would be used in real-life to counter or negate it…

Exact specs we don’t really know, but tbh, in some aspects the EFT will be stronger with every possible type of ECM built internally and a much larger CM count. (Flames post here responding to you before) In others they are equal, like both using Britecloud.
How other points will compare is tricky to really compare accurately. If nothing else, the EFT EK that has Arexis is probably equal if not stronger in terms of EW than the F35
In terms of War Thunder. I doubt they’ll be overly different in terms of the EW

You know… Sometimes I catch myself thinking, that gaijin deliberately made the Rafale OP to divert the attention from the “russian bias”, like dividing the camp of the NATO countries to let them fight against each other instead of facing the bigger problem together. “Divide and conquer” so to say… And it seems to work like a charm.

I mean, they had all the chances to balance these aircrafts/nations by either chaning the introduction order (e.g. swiss subtree for germany before the introduction of the EF with the F/A-18C and E being the counterpart for the Su-30SM(2)) or putting both at an equalized technological level (e.g. both M-Scan). You can’t tell me that they didn’t see the problem/disparity before the introduction.
I guess I should not keep my hopes high for F-35
My opinion of it IRL is that the F35 always get overhyped quite a bit
bc the F-35 is more of a sensor platform to datalink missiles in fired from other planes, more than anything else
Without stealth mechanic implementation you will just get a plane with worse FM and very limited ammunition carriage. And even with stealth: The most maps are way too small for it to make a big difference and on bigger maps you will have stealth planes just circling high up dropping guided munitions everywhere never seeing another stealth plane or being seen by the enemy.
Yeah, that is largely my opinion and why I guess stealth won’t be too strong, because if it is, stealth Vs stealth would be akin to blindfolded toddlers aimlessly trying to find each other
You forget the fact that most of Iran’s IADS no longer really exists because of a relatively small fleet of F-35s (both Adir and US variants). Taken apart within 48 hours last year and further unalived this year.
As a SEAD platform and general causer of mayhem (whoops, that was a rather nice Command Centre you had there) - neither of which really apply in WT as of now - the F-35 has proven to be very effective thus far.

you wont need a sead platform for ARB
and for pure A2A combat the F-35 is nothing more than a sensor platform so that better A2A platforms can get DL from the F-35
also there is one small thing in WT that completly negates stealth
In war thunder the f35s and in general all 4.5/5 gen planes are never going to be as good as they were supposed to be. F35 heavily relies on sensor fusion, EOTS, AN/APG - 85 LPIR, internal weapon stores. It is very well equiped for SEAD with Stealth capablities, HTS style detection and modern AGM - 88 E/G.

Maps could be bigger but i don’t think even with current map size (talking abojt EC maps) stealth with make a small difference, if would be a rather huge one.
