You are pretty much in the notch like the Rafale the missile and Radar are far more capable.
So while you may leave the notch to fire a missile you leave it by a small amount compared to an AMRAAM.
The R-Darter ones can…Just a shame those missiles have a 5km range ha ha
Still cant believe they didnt add a Gripen NG…Yes the cockpit would have taken time to change but for gameplay purposes more power, more hardpoints and a better Radar would have been a massive boon

I know it’s so bad, to miss the glory days of Gripens slinging 9ms and instead have to compete with Mirage 2000s with MICAS and F-15 Amraam spam was a bad time.

It was independently reported for the MICA and R77-1. I guess reports are needed for each and every missile to get this. However, seeing the SLAAMRAM, this should be possible for the 120C, but would need a report (that’s using the VL that this was reported for MICA)

They just ignore Typhoon reports bud, 120C will get it as the US use that missile now.
Typhoon will end this update with no buffs excluding an MFD change.

The feature is a LOAL one, so all fox 3’s should have it.
This feature visibly needs individual report for all missiles. As I said above, it should be easily reportable for the AIM120C, but I don’t know for the other. Seeing as this has been specifically reported for the R77-1 and not the base r77, it would seem as no, maybe not all ARH missiles should have this specific mechanic.

Su-30 has a PESA and CAPTOR-M is not “closer to PESA Radars in function than mechanical radars”
PESA radars have much faster beam steering (Stated to be 400 microseconds for Bars) than mechanical ones, even CAPTOR-M …
“Priority track” is not such ground breaking feature either … Even APG-66V2 had it IRL …

Sort of like CAPTOR-E (Which is AESA + Mechanical repositioner)
Captor M has some of the fastest actuator speeds for positioning the antenna. It was literally designed with the mindset it would be superior to early PESA radars like the one found on the Rafale we don’t have in game and that Su-30 1980s Radar.
People are keen to shoot down Captor based on it’s in game performance.
The “mindset” doesn’t really matter here
It’s still much slower than PESA
IIRC CAPTOR-M can do 10 degrees in 30 milliseconds
Compare that with the stated 400 microseconds (To steer the beam anywhere within electronic steering limit) of Bars; And Bars likely isn’t the fastest PESA out there.
