Has anyone reported the missing AMRAAM Cs?
Based on what? Gaijin wont fix the Radar they wont give it a better missile they already think it’s the best jet in game.
It’s not a bug it’s a balancing decision
We see other aircrafts that don’t have it yet
You might be right, but to me this “balance decision” makes no sense at all
We can only hope some other aircraft receive it in the next dev server
And the typhoon is definitely not the strongest top tier so would do with some better missiles
We know that but Gaijin must genuinely believe Typhoon is the best jet in game.
We are now what 6 months into Typhoon and we do not have a working Radar, yet the jet still performs well so why fix it? We have no additional weapon systems, well doesn’t need it already great.
Gaijin think Typhoon is the best jet in both air RB and mixed battles.

I don’t know. It would seem more unfair than the radar issue from before. 80km to 180*km of max range is a big step and would be a joke if the F15 specifically has them and not the eurofighter. All we can do is hope for the best to come soon
Just banging our head against the wall right now.
180Km is a target not defending a fighter sized target closer to 100km in perfect conditions in game 70km but even then you can defend and notch they aren’t going to be uncounterable.
Isn’t that the same case with the aim120A/B, you can only guarantee a kill in maybe i dont know, 30km? The C-5 will still be a good improvement

C5 strength in game is it has no tracking delay so has limited HOB capabilities
And it has improved seeker.
Currently, against people that don’t really notch (maybe slight angle, not completely frontal), the engagement distance of the AIM120 is in the 50-60km I’d say. Against people that don’t notch correctly but actively try to defeat the missile, 30-40km maximum. The C-5 might improve both scenario by, I would guess, 10-15km ?
Its seeker is also different, almost on par with MICA for gate width
which pilot with just some knowledge not going to die in that range anyway
I can’t even remember where the last time i died to AMRAAM at range more than 20KM
most of my death are closer than 18KM
but still, it makes no sense if EFT don’t get C-5 as well but F-15E get it so I’m assume that they’ll get it later before update live
I don’t see it, by fixing Typhoons Radar and giving it a better missile the buff to the F-15 is meaningless.

We don’t know yet really because update isn’t live yet
But I don’t think they gonna left EFT with 120B but give F-15E C-5 only despite it the similar performance at same BR it has no reason for that because F-15E have almost everything better than (even maximum amraam amout) EFT except dogfight performance
but if it does leave EFT with 120B it probably not gonna surprise me because as we know how incompetent Gaijin can be
anything can happen in the worse way possible.

There are so many… “basic” things never fixed with the Typhoon that I wouldnt be surprised if they actually nerfed the Typhoon instead of giving it AIm-120C5s this major update
