I do not know the ins and outs of any of those jets, save for maybe the Mirage 2000 5F and 5Ei since the closest jet I have to any of those listed is a Mirage 2000C s4. Except the5F and 5Ei have MAWS and MICA.
I would even perhaps put Rafale and Eurofighter at 14.3 so that 13.0’s won’t have to see them. But the Rest of the things listed can still see them in limited numbers.
Can you imagine what a Rafale or a Typhoon does to the current 13.0 line up? Ohh hey I am in a KWS trying to grind to the Typhoon, ohh whats that? 10 AMRAAMS being guided by CAPTOR are headed by way? Well that’s that then I suppose I will just die!
It will take some careful deliberation on Gaijins part in any case
Doesn’t that depend entirely on which Typhoon get added? Tranche 1 jets have pretty much zero CAS capability unless you wanna point the Mauser at a light target or something I guess.
Wait that raises a question. Would a Tranche 1 Typhoon have gun ccip? I wonder
I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s that good, until we get next gen IR and radar missiles, then it is pretty much just a Mirage 2000 with better FM and an F-15E equivalent in BVR with J-10/gripen levels of dogfight capability
Read the sutton book again recently and there were indeed a few mentions of dodgy reliability and gun jams on it, but the haven’t been modelled on the Alpha Jet, gripen or tornados yet so we can hope
Hopefully we get a Frankenstein block 5 variant with GBUs and SAL brimstones since they are established to not be much of a threat, plus a LITENING II/III pod
all of the typhoon’s CAS ordinance is already in the game in same form or another, especially after the influx of GPS GBUs added in Firebirds. especially since the main operational armament of UK typhoons seems to be 4x Paveway 4 and a compliment of drop tanks, ASRAAM and AMRAAM/Meteor
I am assuming you say this in the event of CAS options being available for the respective jets instead of them being tranche 1 AA only?
I think I read that the German Typhoon only has LJDAM and Paveway 1 through 4? The Brits also have Brimstones. Gaijin, give the German one HOPE and or HOSBO
