Suggestion is the usual response for such a report. But yeah, it’s really funny how people complain so much about Brimstones and yet we have the weakest possible variant, missing most of its features and is underperforming notably.

I have no idea on the precise meanings of things, but I think anything to do with how things are modeled rather than straight up game bugs are considered as suggestions
Still hoping that the devs wake one day up, and realise that the name EF-2000 is awfull and therefore change it to its correct name “Eurofighter”

Played a little bit with the Su-33 unlocked it and man I would honestly trade the 120 for a missile like the R-27…
Low alt high alt doesn’t matter, I would even take an ASRAAM based on the R-27ET
120s are so easy to defeat a puff of chaff a half assed notch and they just give up.
I do wonder if they’ll just add watered-down versions of the IRIS-T/ASRAAM rather than adding the full strength version. Mostly in the seeker department
Of course they will and we will get a big speil about how IIR missiles if they were modelled correctly would break the game and the player needs to be able to counter and detect them etc etc.
As of now Typhoon needs a new missile, 120s do not cut it and that sounds crazy to say
They could add in 9X since it’s the worst of the modern missiles. It would be wrong but technically there’s some finegaling you could do.
The issue is that the Typhoon is an aggressive aircraft that you need to play defensively and its jsut wierd.
Aim-120s certainly no longer feel like they hold much advantage anymore, especially as people have become more confident in defending and the aircraft have become better at handling it too. So the range advantage on the Aim-120B has lost much of its potency and the MCIA/R-77-1s WVR performance holds far greater value.
So I could see Aim-120C5s coming at some point.
As for SRAAMs. The lack of a HOBS missile sucks, but its tuning it right so that it isnt OP or without making a new arms race with everyone else. But just giving AIm-9M their IRL lock ranges and turning them into a medium range weapon would be enough I think in the SRAAM department
I don’t think we will see IIR missiles for awhile sadly.
They need to make changes to the 120B we have in game or upgrade it to the C so we at least have some chaff resistance and some HOB capability.
R-77-1 and R-73 are in a different world to Aim9M and 120B
