The only thing I saw wth EF was adding 2 IR (I think, they might be UV, not sure at this point) to the side of wingtip pods.
I don’t think that the fact harrier and EF use them is a indicator they are legacy. After all EF is still the one of the top dogs of current air.
they could be both, F-22 has an IR/UV MAWS so its possible
It feels hilarious to talk about whose positions demand professional demeanor when you keep repeating that the EFT lacks sensor fusion despite multiple pieces of evidence posted by two “professionals” from your own words.
If you have some very credible evidence that directly disproves what Gunjob and Necronomica have posted then do feel free to enlighten us. Oh and this time please stick to actual eurofighter models information instead of prototypes that were half finished.

I just checked and you can set him to ignore or block so just do that instead of derailing and insulting, its better than getting the thread locked and harassing him.
Man, why would I block people? Not even once in my life have I done it. You might learn (kill the autocorrect) something from them, and if not, I do like to have some entertainment during the day.

Moving away from the drama. Any word/news on a fix for the auto-radar-to-IRST switch thingy? I’ve had a few cases of my AMRAAM locks ‘switching’ to IR mode and me furious hammering the launch key without success. Even if they made the ‘switch modes’ key work rather than having to unlock/relock would be a win.

Ah bugger - okay.
Off-topic here, but reminds me of when he went into full-on denial of Leopard 2s (specifically 2A5+ variants) mantlet being vastly superior to M1s, just because I refused to share actually classified documents with him about that.
MiG-23M very much loves to deny reality and spread misinformation especially when it comes to vehicles AND countries he dislikes/has a hate duck for (generally these tend to be either Germany or the UK).
