Maybe it’s just my Hellday today and I’m triggered by everything, but somehow too many R-Darters are flying into the ground… And I only have 4 of them. That’s less than anyone else on this BR. And in the process of this painful grind, in 3 hours I collected… 70k RP. And the classic tilt began - R-Darters fly into the ground. 9M pretend to work, but in 25 games I got 2 kills from them (although in half of the matches I was left with completely empty pylons). In general - hellday…
It feels like in the process of grinding the twin-engine Typhoon, my Gripen will become twin-engine. I will be the second engine. And I will give more thrust than the F404 and EJ200

R-darters are just iffy in general I think. I had a good time with them today, launching at around 15/20km but i’ve had other days where they’ve just felt cursed. I’ve been lobbing 1/2 from alt at targets on tws and getting quite a few kills (eagles and EFs/rafales who are waiting way too long to go defensive mostly) and saving the last 2 for the fight on the deck.
Other days though… I’ve been tempted to just run a full loadout of sidewinders. But yeah, step away from the grind for a bit, the eurofighter ain’t going anywhere.

Gripen E would be fairly competitive, but should be added alongside slightly later rafale and typhoon, and AESA upgraded US 4th gens (which shouldve been added with typhoon and rafale)

The thing is that it isn’t that competitive until you are in close range.
The EF is just a better BVR platform.

yeah true, but it still has a very new radar, will probably outdo rafale and eft radars, and it can just use AB to speed up to a decent amraam firing speed
T4 would be nice for the German players bc they would also get the Pirate on that.
yeah t4 can come with the current service F-22 tbh
t2 early aesa 4th gen, t3 late 2000s-2010s upgrades, t4 with current upgraded 4th gen and 5th gens
I think the gripen would also be a jet that would heavily benefit from adding EW

rafale and US and from what ive heard, russians, will greatly benefit aswell

Good points but I have little trust in a rework happening or even if it does it being competently done.
yeah, theyll be tricky but not uncounterable.
as for ECM, i think itll be hard to model since to my knowlege there isnt much info out there about them in general as far as specs go. the only thing i know for sure is that the AESA radar of an aircraft is generally more powerfull than seperate ECM systems, which is why the F-22 and F-35 ECM are really good at jamming stuff.
There would also be also air craft that aren’t top-tier that would benefit from jamming being modeled.
For example the Mig21 with its countermeasure dispenser / jammer
