Most of all they should be somewhat consistent. EFT going around with a worse radar than the Su-27SM is absolutely insane. Captor-M should blow everything that is not AESA or PESA out of the water.

Even then, fairly certain i’ve read some bits that said it beat early-PESA radars
I mean I very much believe so, at least it should be better in many aspects compared to the early Russian PESAs of the 80s/90s given the gigantic leaps electronics made.

They always seem to dodge CC attention and never make it onto lists of notable top tiers, they are generally underappreciated by most of the community
I dont think ive ever seen CC’s speak ill of them, they’re just from a niche nation so they dont garner a ton of attention and therefore clicks.
I hope this will remain a meme for a while lol, it’s absolutely hilarious how they responded to the thing… what can you expect though, they also managed to confuse the T-10 manual with the Su-27 one for over a year (that’s the reason the flanker was underperforming all along) and those were documents in their own language.

Dont let the french mains hear you. The MICA is the most unreliable missile there is, and its the single worst missile at top tier. The only way they’ve been able to make them work is due to their vastly superior skills and intellect obviously.

Is it in the HMD as well?
Nation mains in general are unbearable imho, especially those that don’t have a single other top tier tech tree so can’t actually compare the stuff.
I can see their point about unreliability since TVC missiles are quite unstable, but against skilled players there are many situations I prefer the R-77 over the aim210s, so I would likely prefer the MICA even more. If it wasn’t 16v16 anyone with half a brain would not die to 40km amraams.

I meant ingame. Itd be incredibly useful to have in the HMD, borderline pointless in the HUD.
The HMD is usually what you’d be tracking an enemy through the rate with. The HUD is what you’d be using in thr final moments before a gun/missile shot, so Id love it if my HMD told me my SEP when I’m playing sim. Having to look down at my HUD to figure out my SEP would be pretty pointless, since at that point I can just check if my speed is rising or dropping…
I’m wondering if that might be what the top right number on this HMD display in the DCS EFT trailer was:
thats the altitude
but imo that HMD in the trailer wasn’t done or fully accurate. Or there’s reject modes like in the hornet…
