That is somewhat your devide dependent. For example for me they appear <10km. Sometimes even <2km. I do have a Potato 5000 tho.

dont think so and I dont think you would be able to target it accurately enough, would need a DH to get a kill. Still could be used at 30km for that, but just spamming them at the AF for score farming would be their main use like F-15Es do with GBU-39s currently but they have to actually get close
Basically a glide bomb, so while somewhat different in that it can be EO guided, it isn’t meaningfully different in time to target than a PW4 in a in game scenario.
Did they ever make it to production, I’ve only ever seen the inert weapons on displays?

I don’t have that problem, but I shoot closer to leave some energy for the missile to maneuver
I’ll wait as long as I can, but there comes a point where I need to defend myself. so Im usually forced to fire around 10km I reckon. (let alone if im also simutaneously defending against 2-3 Pantsirs firing at me and what to get the hell out of there)

Nope, they were at least test fired tho. There’s also a succesor project in development at Diehl and Rafael, called PILUM. But there’s very little info on that out there.

I dont think anyone operates Kh-38 class weapons against tanks irl. Its maasively overkill for any tanks and likely intended for anti-structure work considering its 250kg warhead.
lmao, found an bug where the radar of the German EF somehow got an IR mode, it was literall stuck in IR search mode

I had the T-Pod because was doing CAS, but even with the T-Pod you cant switch to IR Search
