Eurofighter Typhoon (UK versions) - Technical data and discussion (Part 1)

Yee of little faith haha, I got the idea from playing far too much Nuclear Option.

Would be nice to know if I’m notching properly I suppose… other than that it just sets us up well for more MAWS functionality. Like when BRITECLOUD and TRD’s rock up we might not even need stealth to remain competitive given the number and volume and quality of defensive aids available

yeah I had a feeling lol, we can always hope it will be as good as nuclear option (tbf notching in that game is made way easier with the fact most planes have built in jammers)

Sad :( was hoping for Accepted

My method of getting new stuff is incremental suggestions that eventually lead us to full Sensor Fusion. Asking for the full thing is unattainable in a single patch, so piece by piece we will get there.

sadly true, im not even fully aware of how much of the EFTs sensor package we are missing but from what I have heard it seems to be a lot

Yeah a few of my comments have been hidden for using the S word. I guess that’s the new norm. gotta polish every comment you say

Its mostly all there, the main missing pieces are the TRD and ECM (Integrated Jammers & BriteCloud Decoys).

The sensors we do have are just missing features for the most part. But thats true of similar systems in game.

Also my SPEAR 3 suggestion;

Spoiler

Issue

Presently ef_2000_all is missing access the to the SPEAR 3 stand off weapon. Until very recently the weapon had yet to be fired from a Typhoon. That is no longer the case.

As it uses the seeker we already have on uk_brimstone_dm implementation is largely copy paste, with only the GPS guidance needing to be added. (this guidance method is also available on uk_paveway_iv).

Range

80nm (148km), also note the SPEAR-EW version has a flight time of 37 minutes.

2 things.

I knew about F-18s having ASRAAM integration because of the aussie F-18s but I didnt know there was an F-15 out there with ASRAAM integration

this would immediately make it better then brimstone 1 in game, since in game the brimstone can actually get up to 20km its just the life time of the missile is only 60 seconds

Still planned.

Could you mayhaps forward my bug report on the velocity vector not working correctly, on the Eurofighter?
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/GBpaa8aDiAnc

Already reported.

Really?
Didn’t see that

It was reported internally, its all vector indicators. Some are worse than others.

Well, I hope we are going to get working indecators soon with the F18 and su30 having them work

So,
Spear 3 → Suggestion
Vector Indicator → Accepted
Striker II → Planned
Did I forgot any?
