the radar issues the typhoon has effect every other mechanical scan radar in the game, this is not gaijin singling out your favorite plane as you seem to think it is
how is the aim9m under performing, could you please share your sources.

I’d have to say the aim9m irccm is not as good as I thought anymore, maybe it’s placebo or something, but it definitely feels like it’s more prone to tracking fired off missiles instead. But honestly r73 is just straight up better
Except fixing many of the major bugs would result in major buffs. Things like a total overhaul of the radar would actually make us competitive in the BVR theatre.
By saying it shouldnt be buffed, is the same as saying it should be artificially nerfed.
Everyone else seems to have been affected since the last major update with the introduction of TWS+. The Typhoons radar has NEVER been good. In fact for the first couple of weeks. It was a LOT worse.
There are a number of IRCCM related buffs the Aim-9M could get, but this is the major thing they need to fix

But adding new features like Priority tracking, practically turning the Typhoons radar into a psuedo AESA radar would be a major buff for it. PIRATE TWS and allowing PIRATE And CAPTOR-M to work at the same time ontop of that would be even better.

oh yeah forgot to mention, what do you think of the nerfs that were proposed to the gripen by a eurofighter main? just curios what your opinion on that is.
Flame does his research and due diligence and are well soruced and referrenced.
Some of the nerfs we were getting back when the Gripen was new was stuff like:
“IRL the F-16 is better than the Gripen because this F-16 pilot said so in this interview, therefore nerf the Gripen down to the point where the F-16 can beat it in a dogfight” (100% legit thread we had)
no sources, no evidence, no nothing. And yet, somehow, the Gripen still got nerfed. Again and Again and Again.
The worst by far though was nerfs like the BOL changes (100% fake) , and the number of missing features the Gripen still has. With the absence of the Gripen E, feel rather bad the Swedes at the moment, they got rather shafted
Grippen is a cool plane. I do remember, I was playing Mig-29G at the time of Grippen meta. And it was fun. This thing was unfairly nerfed due to massive skill issue of some players. Yup it was strong, but lack of decent Fox-1 and low max missile count made it fair enough. It should have been unnerfed the same second multipathing was changed. Because back then grippen had lost his most powerful playstyle.
Fun times. Now with this abysmal visibility change to please the BVR crowd ARB became the least fun mode in the game.

Gripen was the rat then the M2K recieved MICAs and replaced it in that role.
R Darter was fun though when you accepted your missile had less range than an Aim7
