In a meta where radar performance is critical, a radar that doesn’t work half the time has a major impact. Given it’s missiles are also average at best. It holds very slim advantages over anything else it faces.
Typhoon needs massive overhauls and buffs
It doesn’t need any buffs, the reason you are having these issues is due to a deficiency in the pilot department

Gaijin tried to fix it with the rushed and half assed implementation of TWS+ which did more harm than good

Yeah no, I have no issue with any other fighter/radar combo. Heck I even make the F3 Late and FA2 work quite well. Some of the weakest ARH slingers in the game.

CAPTOR-M is a buggy mess that is less reliable at picking up targets than the blue fox
You have any idea how blind the radar is? The TWS mode can’t even see things coming directly at you from the front half the time. I’ve resorted to switching to IRST then switching immediately back over to radar to fire AMRAAMs as because the CAPTOR seems to run on dialup and locks onto thin air (the location the aircraft was in like 2 business days prior)
I know that every radar that got tws+ got worse, but it is alot more noticeable and extrme on the EF
“anti typhoon bias” sure man definitely what’s happening here and not the fact I am against giving the top aircraft even more advantages (a position I have maintained for years and something I have made it clear MULTIPLE TIMES that I believe in)

Play it, play the blue vixen found in the Gripen or FA2 and then play the typhoon.

It is TWS+ made every radar worse that got it even tho it was supposed to do the opposite.
The EF which was already plagued by ghost targets and drifting radar locks has still the same problems but even worse.
Before the update the EF radar behaved like the f15 radar is behaving now.
And TWS+ made it even worse.
Rafale claps it.
Even SU-27, SU-30 and MiG-29SMT now kind off clap.
Eurofighter is a bit of a brick at the moment.

It is, rafale is alot easier to use in a dogfight

Eurofighter handles a bit like Mirage 2000 currently while Rafale resembles a UFO.
Playing Eurofighter against Rafale is a bit like playing P-40 vs CW-21. Though this comparison is lacking.
Check the SB tab not the RB tab. And yes, I’ve barely played it. The radar is so infuriating to use that it’s put me off playing it excessively. In a gamemode like SB where you are dependent on the radar far more. The TWS mode being essentially unusable makes it even worse.
I’ve been having a blast playing the harriers and tornado because at least their radars work as they should.
But that is still more games than yoube played in it
But multiple people are here telling you the radar is broken. So clearly it isn’t just me…
