I dont know what Gaijin are playing at. I feel for the tech and mods trying to justify these changes.
They have absolutely hamstrung the Typhoon so much so.
German mains will be clamouring for the AMK kit and we will need a Tranche 3/4 with an AESA Radar
To have any hope.
Instead of just having a working Typhoon that all users love and have nothing to complain about!
Have to wait until they add a premium Qatari/Saudi/Turkish, Spanish and a Austrian Typhoon before they decide to fix it.
In case some of you were wondering, the Chinese community has begun to call the Rafale a “6th generation fighter” after the buffs that it has received this update, lol.
I do agree that the Rafale’s performance seems a little suspect… Especially in comparison to the EFT now.
I think the endearment they give towards the Typhoon does not put it in the same class as the F-22. It’s also stated that the F-22 beats the F-15 through the sound barrier (which the Typhoon roughly matches)… Without the afterburner.
How do you know he didn’t just get an alt account and named it Mulatu_Astatke? They both do the exact same thing of misinterpreting sources or handwaving anything they don’t like, and both have the biggest hate boner for the EFT the world has ever seen.
When PIRATE switches to STT mode it should not be able to see outside the FOV. This is only really an issue if the Eurofighter goes passive and disables the radar and only uses PIRATE for search and detection.
To be fair, even the Mirage 2000-5F is still missing some of its capabilities such as increased climb rate, increased MPRF range, air to ground radar modes as well as MICA EM buffs all of which are reported. It is also missing some range for the DDM-MAWS. The Mirage 2000-5F if anything was more like Gen 4.5 and should see more buffs, and the Rafale was supposed to be another step above it completely. The Rafale is supposed to be 5th gen but was not, only because of necessary cost-savings. Mirage 2000-5F also contains internal jammers, so I would not be surprised if it in the end it ends up being a higher BR than the J-10B for example.
I’m aware, J-10B was found to be unsatisfactory anyway, since PLAAF only operated low/mid two digits amount of them before switching production to J-10C. 10B still isn’t 100% comparable to EFT or Rafale.
Rafale is still waiting on many important buffs. Why should the Rafale be held back so the Eurofighter can be somewhat competitive? The Eurofighter has already ran its race.
