With smokeless IR missiles and HMD IFF(or EF shouldn’t have it?)in can be really dangerous in SIM. Disable radar, use IRST to seek for heat signatures, use HMD to ID it, if enemy launch a missile.

On a serious note, I think an EAP skin would be a great cross of a meme, like the secret documents decal, as well as community outreach and also just be a super nice way to put the whole thing to bed by tucking it in.

The PIRATE IRST is also a camera with a lot of zoom. I usually use TGP’s for that job in sim, but PIRATE will lilely auto-slave to the IRST target. So you’d be able to spot what aircraft they are and what theyre doing from a long ways off quite easily.
Didn’t you think that when using only the brakes, without a parachute, the Typhoon slows down somehow very slowly? Reminded me of Swift.
Meanwhile I am here, with planes generating at 5 km max.
Annoyingly, it appears it doesnt, so that might need reporting

The devs seem to make strike aircraft TGP autoslave to radar/IRST, while air superiority ones dont. They could solve this with a “slave TGP” key or something, but I dont think anyones suggested it.
Ik suptised to hear PIRATE doesnt autolock tho. Guess its just straight up acting like a TGP and an IRST at the same time. Weird…
Though I dont think the Tornados Tpod has ever slaved when you lock a target with the ACM.
But up until yesterday, both the PIRATE and Litening III could be viewed when both equipped ( was actually very annoying)
Im guessing its WIP, but i hope it slaves. The Tpod does slave to GMTI locks

IR AGMs don’t slave to ground targeting or target point either, so that’s another thing that’s annoying on that topic.
