LITENING 3 was integrated in block 5 which is in Tranche 1. F.2 is a Tranche 1 Block 2 EFT. So even if it did have LGB’s it didn’t get the pod to guide them until block 5.
RAF had the following Marks;
Typhoon T.1 (Tranche 1 Block 1 Trainer)
Typhoon T.1A (Tranche 1 Block 2 Trainer)
Typhoon F.2 (Tranche 1 Block 2 Single Seat)
Typhoon T.3 (Tranche 1 Block 5 Trainer or Tranche 2 or Tranche 3)
Typhoon FGR.4 (Tranche 1 Block 5 or Tranche 2 / Tranche 3 P1E, P2E, and P3E upgrades under Project Centurion)
Gajin makes me fear more and more that we will be stuck with a block 1 euro.
Or get the f-16 treatment of getting 2 and needing to grind the a2g version specialy as well
Did uk or italy have block 5s as well or did uk skip it to a higher?
Would suck if only one would get a block5 but germany is kinda screwed cas wise
The specific versions arent always true for the leaks.
Its often the leaker only saw the model and had to guess or the project name started out in one way but they changed the aircraft along the way but didnt change project names yet
