GNSS or GNSS Spear-3s to give us a spammable, long range, GNSS weapon. Something stronger than GBU-39s, but weaker than GBU-53.

Typhoon was designed to use Brimstones. It is the principle weapon and if deployed in anger against armoured tanks. It is what it would use.
This is the issue.
There are dozen or so missing GBU options, and then of course Cruise missiles like Storm Shadow. But in terms of practical, shorter range, FnF weapons, it is Brimstone.
So a GNSS+SAL Spear-3 coupled with SAL- Brimstones 2s would help dramatically offset the loss of FnF Brimstone

There are concerns for air modes. Grom-1s got removed because of people killing bases litereally cross map. But Spear-3s would do basically no damage .
But that is why I was comparing Spear-3 to those weapons. If the only excuse they can come with is “it has too much range” then it raises a question of why the double standard and its there their argument just collapses in on itself

I think their reasoning was something closer to “we don’t want to add sworm of 70’ish km range small bombs for GRB”. Just a balancing reason with stupid explanation by them.
Im guessing that will have changed with LOAL being added on the dev server.
