None, the WT Eurofighter will come first, as DCS development timelines are significantly longer than WT ones. DCS is also a significantly smaller market than WT, with DCS having an avg player count of like, 1000, peaking at 2k, and WT an avg player count of ~59k, peaking at 92k (both from stemCharcts over the last 30 days).
DCS is talked a lot as “the other plane game” but as a DCS content creator and iirc mod once said “DCS only exists at this point because WT allows it to exist”.

I meant that the Austrian ones don’t even have MAWS or the Towed Decoys. Literally just the CM dispensers.
how does the austrian one matter tho
As i see it war thunder is the casual and DC is the more hardcore simulator part of the community simple as that.
Of course more people will be more inclined to start with the more casual war thunder.
Even more if you consider possible price tags of simulator gear.
But on the backside people starting with war thunder might be more inclined to switch to dcs at one point.
Once they got into the genre
Possible premium eft for germany
dont think thats gonna happen
Thats debatable. WT is the bigger game, it has the most support, and it continues to grow bigger and faster than DCS likely ever could. It also does some things just outright better than DCS with regards to air combat, with vastly superior IR modelling for example, and with the most recent change to start implementing realistic MFD’s in aircrafts, its beginning to encroach on DCS territory.
DCS, realistically speaking, is a cockpit button clicking sim, THATS what makes it hard to get into. Its very detailed on the aspects of air combat that most people dont particularly care for. It does have some other things going for it, such as much bigger/better maps, and better strike objectives and the likes, but thats about it. Its actually more likely DCS players end up playing WT than the other way around, particularly as ppl grow up and have less time in their days to dedicate to reading a flight manual for a jet that took 3+ years to release.

When and which eurofighter will most likely get AESA in the german tech tree? I heard germany upgraded their older tranche 1,2s
There is no aesa typhoon yet.
Neither germany, uk,italy or spain haa them
UK has one currently conducting flight trials with the ECRS Mk. 2
(But yes technically not in service yet)
And according to Hensoldt the first were delivered for Export typhoons to Kuwait and Quatar

It will be firstly the Tranche 4 then the 2 and 3 (I don’t even know if we even have any Tranche 1s still flying around)

Its in the same state as in germany, i am aware
Various nations have at least a unit equipped with an Aesa radar (Italy, Germany and the UK have at least one if not more) and then there are as You mentioned the Kuwait and Qatar units with the ECRS MK0.

can we expect aesa typhoons in war thunder then?
not at first, the radar is a damn fine mechanical one though, so the Euro fighters won’t be too held back by it

yeah im just worried americans with aesa radars is going to be op
then the british and italian eurofighter are literally the same deal
Well not exactly, the British One has the asraaam while the Italian One has the Iris-t (even tought It tested asraaam). The British One has also the LWS, while the Italian One doesn’t, but both have the Pirate. They Will also have the same Aesa radar in future (ECRS MK2) while the German One Will have the MK1

so germany has the worst ones?
Depends, they lack the Pirate, but they are identical to the others in every aspect. A German unit was also tested with the AMK kit.
