I don’t really know what you’re trying to get out of bringing that up. I’m discussing German Eurofighter in a thread about German Eurofighter. And you’re accusing me of what? Having a German Eurofighter? Well yes, why? I don’t really khow why you’re waiting for me to find an excuse for myself, because I wouldn’t. I play this game for 12 years or so, with breaks and stuff. Started with US, but 10 years ago or whenever the tanks were added - I just thought that american tanks are ugly, which I still think though. But fine, fine. I do admit that I despise soviet and russian anything and that comes from the heart. I bought a type 10 not that long ago to kinda force myself to grind japanese tree, but I really do hate the grind. It’s best at dogfighting, regardless if guns or missiles.
Most of their duels started on equal terms, but he did some runs doing things that he describes as “playing the Rafale’s game” and EFT still won. Keep in mind, that dude is better than DEFYN, so Rafale had the pilot advantage as well.

I agree, but that’s the prime source of my doubts about what defyn tells. My main question is why isn’t he showing them, but just talking about them? Like I do know that he’s highly unlikely just lying, but still. Still love him though.
DEFYN is very skilled and his opponent was one of the best duelists in the game, so I’m sure those two have more credibility than some random forumers in a EFT thread saying the plane sucks.
Average ARB player is much, much worse than those two and that gameplay shouldn’t be evidence of anything.
He literally said that he will be only showing all planes in their best light, as otherwise the video would be really long. This is why 27SM was shown with R-73s only without wasting time on guns-only or R-77s, as in that scenario plane definitely isn’t at it’s best in a duel.

Yes. That makes your statement irrelevant to a degree though. Because it goes from “It’s the best dogfighter in a game” to “Well, if the best duelist in the game in perfect conditions for him would use it, then it’s a best dogfighter in the game”.
You see, we can pull straws out of this conversation for an eternity. But it all comes to one - we don’t have any video evidence of this. Which I would like to see. I’ll repeat - I don’t have a single drop of a doubt in their skill levels. I just think that the test wasn’t completely fair and square. Because I can see a reason for it to be so. It’s a Defyn. Judging by his character he might have just lost a couple of details in a process due to him having too much fun dueling with this dude.

Go ask Silvers in CS2 and some might tell you P90 is the best gun in the game. I’m sure elite players wouldn’t really agree with that.
You shouldn’t take away the plane’s credit just because pilots are being the bottleneck. Capabilities of the plane are shown by really good players, but if someone can’t reach that level of skill it isn’t really plane’s fault.
Planes started from a level playing field, and even some duels took place where EFT intentionally played the Rafale’s game.
As I already told you, he posted only the best scenarios loadout wise for each plane he tested. Video was already almost 30 minutes long, so if he included all sub-par variations it would’ve been hour+ long easily.
Just an example of a plane that was used with missiles, as they clearly boosted it’s performance.
