The M2K’s are also highly praised by tournement players last I checked.
Nobody thinks the M2K or MICA is bad in-game except french mains.
I personally I hate the FGR2s cockpit, so its not really much better :D
Yet main jets were F15s and gripens with what, one, sometimes 2 mirages per team.
Rafale has obtained 8X Mica-EM. What about the pair of ARMAAM hangpoints that Typhoon lacks?

I rarely meet a MICA armed mirage with a negative K/D, mine is probably my best top tier K/D right now just as a testament to how good it is, considering I am roughly 2:1 in every other top tier I own
Uh… Typhoon is more than capable of doing that. Given it can carry a decent A2A and A2G payload and is well equipped in terms of A2G weapons and A2G sensors (radar and tpod)
It likely could be fitted with them, but Britain doesnt use aircraft launched nukes anymore, we use subs and im not sure about Germany, I think the US handles them for now with the plan to use F-35s
Though I think a Carrier launched version of the Typhoon was considered but the RN at least wanted something more like the F-35 (F-35 originated in the FAA and not actually with the USMC)

I think its fair to say even tournement players like the M2K, and particularly the MICA, unless you think the 2nd place team are playing vs ppl who dont know what theyre doing and are themselves bad.

The MICA allows for a unique and very dynamic playstyle where you can hold any enemy at arms length, Someone approaching at high speed lobbing fox-3s, just lock them up with HMD while entering the notch and launch a highly off-bore MICA while dropping chaff, and that is worst case scenario, you usually have a chance to deal with them long before that
And then ask him at what ranges they shoot… You are always comparing uncomparable.
It aint 16v16 match. I watched some of the matches… Mirage per team, sometimes two, then spam of 15s and Gripens. But i guess these two doesnt count and one or two mirages per team for close in fighting makes it the best thing out there. Strange it wasnt other way around, one or two F15s/Gripens and rest mirages.
And again, IDGAF about mica being good BFM missile. Its supposed to be BVR MISSILE IN FIRST PLACE. NOT BFM. And it is not EVEN CLOSE TO BVR.

To be honest, in the Typhoon. Im WAY more scared of fighting Rafales than the F-15E. Especially as French Pilots tend to be pretty competent
They make up a part of a tourney lineup, usually as cleanup duty with MICAs while a gripen spamming chaff is decoy and heavy fighters rain AMRAAMs from above
And guess what is THE meta in public lobby. Raining amraams from above.
