I know it applies to the protective glass of FLIRs and some canopies, like the F-16, for example.

EF still has it, although i don’t fully understand how the R-77-1s missed, i don’t think they got notched, i just pulled enough to dodge them in their energy state (M2.5/35G is still insane to dodge).
I wonder if a MICA would have killed me here.

No one is doubting the MFRL is AMRAAM compatible, but that report includes ASRAAM on a Tornado F.3 as an example? A Photoshop of a Typhoon and a mock up. As well as old marketing materials that include ASPIDE, a weapon that was never integrated and requirement dropped.
If you find a single example (not photoshopped) of a Typhoon with 8xMRAAM that would be suitable evidence.
Not sure what a prototype weapon never progressed to production proves?

Funny you mention 120C with a picture of a German EF2000, iirc they are one of the few EFT operators who doesn’t have any 120C’s and only has 120A/B. Both IAF and RAF operate 120C from their Typhoons.
There’s been a request of purchase in 2023 for 1000 Aim-120C8/D3 but i don’t know if they went trough with it.
And as far as i can tell only Poland has C5/C7, most have the C8/D3(afaik same capability) which still means we wouldn’t get a C with better maneuverability/slightly better range only and just skip to C8/D3 AMMRAM.
