What I also don’t like is that the Map Page doesn’t show me the direction which the A/C goes, but only a dot. They could make it an triangle instead of that useless dot so we can orientate us like in real life, see posted here.
Which compares all 3 radars and critically does not state that the ECRS Mk.1 has a smaller FoR than the other 2 radars. FoR is shown for all 3 radars as being ±100deg, with ±90deg being the full power FoR. I might try to put in a third try bug report, but I doubt it’ll work. Gaijin just seems to be deadset on kicking German players while they’re down.
Unfortunately, I fully expect it to be rejected as they will claim Airbus doesn’t differentiate between ecrs, despite the ecrs mk1 and mk0 being highly related. Gaijin has claimed in the previous article that talked about the ecrs that airbus didn’t refer to the ecrs, and Gaijin wants a claim that explicitly states the MK1 has the same FoR compared to the MK2 and MK0, or at least the mod in charge does, which itslef is a flawed approach due to the nature of the European COMMON radar system likely assuming that any non-mentioned differences are identical, and this contradiction just being a difference in interpretation between 2 marking groups that have interpreted the weaker performance past 90 degrees differently and instead a clear, never mentioned difference in the COMMON radar system.
You should also mention that Hensoldt claims "50% higher angular coverage than traditional AESA radars " which is the exact same thing claimed for ECRS Mk0/2:
Could just try to get the German EFT the ECRS Mk0 at this point, seeing as that downgrade would just be a straight upgrade in this game with how gaijins decided to do things
