Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet (Part 1)

There is no public available documents saying the EF has a manual override of Maximum AOA.

That’s simply it. It was given this button to appease the players while nerfing it, hoping it would ease players.

It’s that simple.

What documents have you read to make this conclusion?

is it unrestricted and legal to read?

Again, I am not your secretary. DYOR

Very sensitive sounding filename.

The earth is flat. If you don’t agree with me, you are stupid. DYOR.
That’s basically how you sound like right now

Where is your document showing it HAS the button?

i didn’t say it has a button, you claimed that it does not have one so i’ve been asking a source for your claim
now you mentioned a sensitive sounding source however you refuse to answer a yes/no question about whether it is legal or not

Lmao. So you can’t prove it does have it. But you don’t want to read the manual, which makes NO reference to a manual toggle for unrestricting AOA.

lmfao
Added due to user requests.
lol

ill read it after you tell me whether it is legal or not
if it is illegal then sharing any information about the contents inside could possibly be a crime in specific legislations

From what i remember gunjob said that there was no documents (at least that he could find) about such a feature but i might remember bad.

Yep I think he did

if there is no such feature, then there shall be a bug report
however it has to be done with legal sources

In all fairness, you can’t prove that such a button doesnt exist (unless you had access to all classified information about it, such as manual)
For the existence of the AOA (or not), the burden of proof should rest on the fact that there is, in fact, a button that can unrestrict AOA.

I believe the EFT has some sort of control button, however it does not give unrestricted access to the full AOA capabilities of the aircraft, only a greater AOA limit.

Also, from studies about the earlier EFT (late 90s, early 20000s), a few studies have been made about the real and calculated high AOA performances of the airframe, but none showed data points above the 25° AOA mark for the IRL data, suggesting the airframe wasn’t conclusively tested above* those values, or so I heard.

Anyway, from these informations, I believe the AOA button is controversial at best.

what is it?

ive been looking at a source that isn’t classified that can prove that it does not exist on operational eurofighters
however this still doesn’t remove the fact that this button was added on multiple airframes due to major user requests and not because eurofighter had to be nerfed
eurofighter had to be nerfed due to its overperformance

im a trash player and even i had a nice kd ratio and 66% winrate

Reason I added « or so I heard » is because I don’t have any idea of where I have read that. I believe it should have been from somewhere from gunjob or flamme, but I might also be imagining it.

Is it the DA.7? If so, DONT SHARE IT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET BANNED
Because the DA.7 is still secret (even tho it was leaked and is aviable online)

You cant use it at slow speed as the rudder wants to flip the aircraft and make you crash.
It’s all very disappointing
