Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet (Part 1)

He probably will not respond but the answer is flat out no. The Eurofighter in game is able of attaining Angles of Attack that the real one cannot. Even the SAS Damping limit is wrong because it is set to 29 degrees AoA just like the Rafale when the real Eurofighter is documented to have an AoA limit of around 24 degrees. There is a reason that they made the AMK in order to increase it’s available AoA.

The AMK is for when the Eurofighter it fully loaded and there is nothing saying 24 AoA

Dunno. Flight performance? Air to Air loadout? What is the significance?

You spawn a KH carrier plane. Its almost in strike range upon spawn. On some maps you can even shot right away. You switch on your pod. Lock’n’shot the ordnance on ground targets, turn around ‘forget’ about them, Do whatever you want. Usually you just land for another run. I’ve seen 4x multikills from players who do it like this.

You don’t need speed, you don’t need maneuverability. No air to air stuff. Newsflash…its all about the air to ground missile.

EF can’t do it. You have to fiddle around with laser pointers within SAM range, while also exposed to enemy fighter spawns.

Thats why a top tier jet without F&F is - in fact - not top tier in GRB.

This is from a different Eurofighter pilot.

Pilot accounts arent proof and they are never accepted.
I wish they were,if some of the pilot accounts for Tornado were accepted we would have a monster.

You showed pilot accounts that mean little

Which is why i said i not even bothering as i see that there is no point

The second source is not a pilot interview…it’s a clarification from the journalist that wrote the article.

The two pilot interviews are just corroboration that…no…the current Eurofighter is not good at fighting at high angles of attack.

The one in game can safely reach 50 AOA.

I have all top tier jets and i agree with @MotorolaCRO in this case.

I would like to hear your excuse for me.

Nothing you show states the Eurofighters AoA it just states that at low speed a F/A-18s is better and that aN Eurofighter would never be slow

Its just not a good argument you are making and combined with they way you arew acting it is pointless to continue this further

The 2nd screenshot I posted it and it’s from a reputable journalist who interviewed one of the test pilots. Eurofighter being limited in AoA is something that is fairly well known.

Do you have any solid proof that shows EFT should be really good at high angle attacks with those canards?

Rafale and Gripen uses close coupled canards for high angle attacks while EFT uses opposite one but according to you EFT should be able to perform at same degree that Rafale and Gripen can.

Ah, so you will dodge the question of how EFT w/F&F makes Su-34 ‘irrelevant’ when nothing else has.

Good to know your stance here is “I just don’t want EFT nations to have F&F” then.

Don’t put words into my mouth

Then explain properly.

Last I checked, the F-18 can achieve AoA of 70 degrees, neither Rafale, nor Gripen, nor EFT can, so the screenshots posted here don’t prove that EFT itself cannot achieve “high AoA”, just that F-18s AoA will in the end be higher. The rest is confirmation bias.

So is the Eurofighter accurate in-game, last I checked it should stall when achieving AOA that would cause total flow separation

The only time(s) it achieves “obscene AoA” is when you put it in a total vertical when its clean, so its TWR handles it more than you are (and WTIRT tells you it pulls 50 AoA cus of that), in a horizontal turn the most I’ve achieved has been 35 so do leave your bias behind.

Thats true but it also doesnt prove that EFT should be able to reach higher AOA compare to Gripen and Rafale.

So im still waiting for an answer my question, how come EFT can achieve higher aoa than Rafale and Gripen in this game even tho it doesnt have same design philosophy?
